I mentioned in another post that I just got the GD53 Hyaku-Shiki, and although it's a beautiful figure, it has its problems: loose joints (especially the knees) and a backpack that won't stay on. Fortunately, there is an easy fix for both problems. First the backpack: remove the pack, and put a small drop of krazy glue on the posts, and let it dry ALL THE WAY. This will shim up the post enough to ensure a tight fit. Loose joints: First- don't try tightening the screws. (you'll see why as soon as you take it apart.) The 'Shiki is constructed just like a 1/144 HG model kit. It's not too complicated. Just do one joint at a time. When you remove the screws, and take off the back plate, you will see how the joint fits together. Slide the post side off. Make a shim by cutting a strip about 1/4" wide from the heavy plastic bag that the figure came in,and shim the hole with the strip of plastic bag. Here's a hint. Cut the strip with a long, narrow point so you can thread it through the hole easily. Trim away the excess plastic, and reassemble the joint. I did this with mine, and now it can do all the outrageous high kicks, and radical poses with narry a droop, or sag. JWM
