Looks like after two weeks amiami is finally caught up with their emails and business as usual.
I submitted cancellation for Voltes V and Gordian and within 30 minutes they were both cancelled! 😅 i washed my hands of them!

There’s quite few of us(lot) ordering two DX Voltes V. 😛
So far personally I like DX Voltes V way better than Combattler V.

I prefer to support smaller HK sites, customer service very responsive and ship out fast. What are your suggestions for these sites? Depending on what you’re looking for it varies but robotoybase is my favorite and ShowZ is another. Theres couple Gundam sites if you’re into Gundam. |

It does look good without the paint. The Three Zero version is different it has wings. Seems little thinner too

Yeah so AmiAmi finally responded to my emails after almost 2 weeks stating only EMS since it’s insured due to cost of the item. But with pandemic it’s on hold in warehouse until further notice.
2nd batch is that for North America market maybe?

That’s pretty cool and tempting but I’ll stick with my original early 1970s Jumbo Mazinger Z. Once you touch and hold one you want more...you go crazy collecting them.

Big up fellow RJ bro Kennyg for selling me his DX Voltes V. I’m done with Amiami going to cancel my preorders with them or just let them ban me from their website. Screw dem. $650 or whatever is lot of money for item To be sitting in warehouse. So much I can do with that money.
So DX Voltes V should be released from me because I’m not paying it. In case somebody is looking for one.

I don’t know man, now there’s new Japan COVID-19 strain and state of emergency in Tokyo. Seems like it will compound the problem more.
But DHL shipping is still working...had package shipped from another website today.
I lost faith in Amiami in terms of customer service. No response from my emails. Going to let my DX Voltes V go from them. Nothing bothers me more by having an expensive item any items(not just toy collectibles) just sitting in warehouse.
Should charge people when it’s ready to ship or shipped.

You must be like first here to get shipped from amiami. Where you located? Im from Qatar in middle east..i think its one of the rare country allows ems..and they do it fast..like the first one i got from CDJ its shipped via ems on dec 25 its reach to my office around noon dec28. hope you guys get it the soonest. Ahhhhh ok I thought you were located like in California. 😊 Maybe it was your what looks like Manny Pacquiao avatar threw me off. 😛 Glad your Voltes V is on its way! |

It’s more or less a waiting game for us with EMS shipping. USA vendors have not receive their stock yet. Will all should hopefully get one especially if we put down payments.
I still have couple days to make up mind to pay Ami.
I know what will happen with me. I m going to combine my Voltes V take few photos and that’s it!! Leave it for display.

You can always unload it. One lesson about buying expensive Gokin is you have to really want it and have some attachment and/or love of anime. Otherwise you’re just buying expensive toys. If you think about it the cost of these are monthly car payments. This is true. Hobbies get expensive, I think this may have been a thrill of the hunt kinda thing Yeah it happens. Collectors like us love the hunt!! Collecting vintage gives you that thrill but can also be expensive. I’m vintage collector as well. If you in SoCal and you don’t want DX Voltes V let me know. 😛 |
