I don't see any restrictions noted with FedEx going to the US. There are delays but not suspensions/restrictions. Go through the chart. HK PO has airmail suspended but the rest are available. Again, I was talking about the cost on my original post not restrictions. It’s 47 page document so it’s page 17. Robotoybase had other shipping options I’ve ordered from them in the past. I even emailed Tony about what happened with other shipping options. Shipping Cost is what it during these times. Either play I’ll wait game, or let it sell out and pay secondary market prices or pay the extra money for only shipping method. I myself just bought his Baikanfu for $90 shipping which I don’t mind because it will get here within a week or so.secondary market is already gouging $800-$900 for it. |

HLJ had this promotion a few weeks ago that gives you a 20% off coupon for future use. If you have that, it brings their price down to HK levels but most likely with better shipping rates. Robotoybase's shipping rates have always been a rip off. Somewhere around 90USD for just the standard shipping was the quote for a Baikanfu when that's DHL/Fedex for other retailers already. Robotoybase shipping is limited to one option due to Covid-19 restrictions similar to Japan websites. |

Preorders starting to pop up in stores. Saw it on HobbySearch & RoboToyBase. Might be more. This 2021 might end up being the most expensive year in my collection career. DX Voltes, Ideon, possibly this, a couple other POSE+, a few Metal Builds & GFFMC, DX Macross VF-1D....and it is only January. This is getting really crazy... Oh cmon what else do you need to spend your money on? You don’t have any bills to pay right?😛 |

After my 2 first preorders got cancelled either due out of stock, delays or whatever I finally received my copy. Premium product, presentation of entire package looks good and I’m definitely happy to have this in my collection. The metallic Red paint is just too damn sweet(NWO 4 Life)
That smell of new diecast brings back memories of my childhood.
This just blows away my old Konami Impact GL that I had and don’t miss it all.
Another company that I’ll be buying more from.

Hmmm if it’s same height then I might be happy with my SoC Goldymarg in hand and GGG brick setup. I just moved the combo yesterday to another shelf and I’m happy with it.
If I’m going to spend lot more money for same character it’s going to be because it’s taller, more diecast, improved body mechanics engineering and articulated fingers.

Yeah I figured the price would be high. This looks to be SoC killer even though SoC version is good. Pose+ Metal is pretty much DX line.

He needs to get a 3rd DX Voltes V.....lol  Well ........ according to the PayPal Resolution Center, Nippon-Yasan has until February 1 to either ship my V5 or fully refund my money. I was suprise I received no resistance from Amiami with my cancellation but maybe I was one of the early cancellations. I assume it’s different if you pay them you’re somewhat locked in.
I don’t know but Covid-19 cases in Japan appears to be picking up and they are not doing deploying vaccines either so this shipping fiasco could be going on for long time.

Yup, if you want Dx Voltes, order it now if it is available. Get two if possible because it is an amazing figure. Yep I agree this will most likely be my toy of year. Better than Combattler V for sure |

At this point if i didn’t have one I snag one on Amazon least you will get it but possible box damage if they just used shipper box. So di you cancel your Pre O at Ami2? Yep cancelled this weekend around same time zman ordered. I get you mixed up with similar avatars. 😛 I cancelled my other preorders with them too. Rather buy items from some company that has alternative shipping methods |

I just purchased another DX V5 from AmiAmi just seconds ago. For California, they had DHL and Surface Parcel as options. I chose DHL. Total is pending until next business day to determine shipping. Let’s see what happens. You probably snagged my copy that I released. Amiami still responding to my 2 week emails yesterday. 😂 Here’s the response: Please note the item is not eligible for DHL due to size and batteries. Therefore only EMS or Air Parcel are available for the order. If you wish for us to keep the item for you, payment is required and then we will hold it until the method you chose resumes to your country. The order appears to have been canceled through the request form. If you have any other questions, please let us know. |

Ahhh yeah Aoshima has so much diecast for its own good. So heavy it was hard to pose it in dynamic position without it falling down due to weight and weak hip joint. Mine fell off the shelf and broke at the hip. Very weak joint for amount diecast it suppose to support.
So I’m missing Shin Getter in my collection.
