Interesting I assume this is biggest modern Albegas release or is the ET version bigger? Might get this one. Wonder what their DX version of this brand means.

Be nice if there’s some difference with this one but looks like an exact reissue. Prefer finish of Icarus. The chrome on this Voltron attracts fingerprints like glue and stays there until I clean it off real good. Can’t stand smudge marks my Voltrons get.

take it or leave it up to you i just to want the GX-71 nightmare to happen again Yeah but we know Bandai is King of Reissues! That’s one thing I don’t like about Bandai are the reissues, repaints. There’s no collectible appeal to someone who likes to hunt. I try to sell some of my Bandai stuff I don’t want anymore I usually end selling for less or takes forever to sell. Majority of people besides us collectors don’t even know what some of these robots are. Next generation will most likely not want them. I know nobody in my family or extended family will want them. It’s going to be pain in the butt to sell them off later due to high shipping rates going up each year especially this big of box. Let alone how often do you find local collectors in your area to sell them too. I only buy robots I truly want or have some attachment too. Some of last years Bandai releases I bought for $50-$70 less than preorder so I’m in no rush when it comes to Bandai stuff. not everything got reissued you have the GX-43, GX-50 and of course GX-71 to name a few, all of those cost at least 3x the original release price
and i agree you with unless you are selling to a collector you will have a hard time selling those gokin, people dont like what they dont know or what they are not familiar with
from my side most of my family and friends know that im hardcore collector, and they are always interested in what im going to get next lol
i think it depends on the robot it self and how popular its some figures like the GX-48K got a 2nd release while it was in the preorder status due to high demand, and some figures like you said get a huge discount like DC Getter and Sigma GX-60R
Google is your friend. Google it and it is available at Bigbadtoystore, entertainment earth, tf-source, Amazon and numerous comic shops. I had it preordered but had to cancel because I won’t have the money this month. Hoping to catch it on sale. I’m also going to get god mars. God Mars I want more.
yes but most of those ask about $20 more than the original price not to mention they will get it after the Japanese store, its still reasonable tho if you need window
oh you wont believe how many gokins i canceled last year, just because i wanted something else, and it worked out good for me since most of them weren't as good as i thought
God Mars will be released in 4 months from now im sure you can save up for, also always get what you really want, im mainuly getting this to complete the set and big of size will be an epic display piece
Well looks like you can scratch GX-71! 😊 I know where you coming from bro. But Bandai is King of Reissues. I’ve been collecting a 30 plus years lots of different toy lines. Nothing hurts collectibility of line or a brand than Reissues. People were saying GX-72 would go up in price or demand once Dragonzord and Titanus come out. But I see BBTS has another preorder on GX-72 again same price as first release. |

I skipped on all of GX-76 Spazers myself. Heck I want to sell off all my DC classic but nobody wants them.
DX Combattler should have articulated fingers like the other two and weak hip flexion articulation.
I personally haven’t been buying much from Bandai. All they seem to be doing is reissue lately.
I personally would pay premium price for something but Bandai can’t get lazy or skip out on stuff.

The soft knee joints of Gold Lightan are my only gripe with this since standing it poses don’t hold well.
Sold my CM Goshogun last year in anticipation for this one.
Would love to see them to do Baldios. Maybe I’ll reach out to them and ask if it’s in the works.

Haven’t posted in awhile but just put mine together last night. I officially waited a year since I preordered this. Haha.
Some of panels were pain in the ass to install but they stay on even when pretend he’s flying horizontally. Love articulated fingers I’m fool for those. I’m personally very happy with it looks great standing in my collection. Has little pop-out cockpit seat for the pilot. This is great homage to original which I have but this is nice streamline version. . This was one of the last items I was waiting for. I’m at capacity with my collection. Don’t see much to get in upcoming year but will keep an eye out so I’m semi-retiring.
Now I’m collecting 80s skateboard decks. 😂
