Guiron is an absolutely surreal monster, what a beast. giant knife with legs and arms. cool There are only 3 "vintage" Gamera films released in germany. german release date/ US title: 1967 War of the monsters/Gamera vs. Barugon 1971 Gamera vs. Gaos 1972 Gamera vs. Monster X here is the german A1 poster from Gamera vs. Barugon 1967 german title:"Godzilla - the dragon from the jungle" 1967 german small poster A3 some lobbyphotos. typical for german lobbyphotos: some are colored, some are "monochrome" (blue, yellow,red...) This is the german A1 poster from 1972 Gamera vs. Monster X (US TV title), japanese title is Gamera Tai Maju Jaiga (1970) The german title is:"Gamera vs. Jiggar: Frankensteins demon threatens/menace the world"...........again Mr.Frankenstein ;D german small poster A3 lobbycard (didnt scan the others)

Before i continue with Gojira & Co I want to show you some posters that started my "movie-poster-passion". Long time ago, i was looking for comics on a flea-market, I found some belgium movie posters (sounds like a fairy tale). I really loved the design and style of these posters and they where incredible cheap. So everything started!Reptilicus 1961 Gorgo 1961 Barbarella 1968 (Jane Fonda is hot ) Moon Zero Two 1969 Beyond the Time Barrier 1960 The Man with the X-Ray Eyes 1963 Robinson Crusoe on Mars 1964

I hope you forgive me my short excursion into my "SF-poster-collection-past" Ok lets get back to japan...nearly. These 2 posters look really similar. this is the german Gorgo re-release A1 poster... ...and this is the french A1 poster of Godzilla vs. Megalonsame color scheme, monster looks similar, typo etc... I think Gojira wins the "style-battle" against his british rival. Ok rival... Gorgo never had a chance agains Gojira.... GOJIRA GO! ;D

So where are everyone else's posters? Let's see them!! Gotta take some pics of the ones up on the walls and scan the ones that are stored. Soon. Chogo, More great stuff man! Amazing collection you have there. You need a really big house with long hallways and lots of wallspace! [edit] Oh, and you need to find a framing shop to get really friendly with.

KingboyDJane Fonda flying around naked in zero gravity. pure sex sketcher there is more to come, didnt even really start with Godzilla... its sad that 98% of the poster collection is packed away, but on the other side 98% of my toy collection is displayed in my rooms. better than nothing Today i show you some Kung-Fu-Space-Riderman stuff Lets start with the great movie Kung-Fu Riders/Super Riders V3 from 1975. I think the film is made in Taiwan. This is the german A1 poster from 1976. The german title is: tatatataaaaaaaaaaaa ;D Frankenstein's Kung-Fu MonsterAgain "Frankenstein". Never ending story...but the title kicks ass Next one is The Super Inframan, made in Hong Kong 1975. This is a Shaw Brothers Production. Lots of action in this movie. Here you see german A1 poster from 1976. Title: "Invasion from the centre/inside of the earth" A4 mini poster very rare press material some lobbyfotos This movie was announced in germany as 2nd Part of The Super Inframan. The Super Riders with the Devil / Superriders Against the Devils is also a production from Taiwan from 1976 (i hope i'm right). This is the german, not so sexy, A1 poster from the late 70ties ? Title:"War of the Infras" hope you like it guys

Hi Ed. I bought all that stuff years ago. in the late 80ties/early 90ties nobody wanted that "trash". I found posters on flea-markets, old movie theaters, movie poster stores etc. no eBay! bought all "analog", on trips to france, belgium, etc. now i'm happy that i started collecting this stuff so "early", cause today some of the posters are really expensive and hard to get. but on the other side you find lots of cool vintage posters for small money on german-eBay. i have some international posters, but i'm more specialized on german movie posters. cause i grew up with these funky films. i love it i'm still looking for the first 2 german godzilla posters from 1956 & 1958. the holy grail. but they are hard to get and very expensive now.

Yo, INFRAMAN friggin RULEZ!!!! I have the english-language version of that movie on dvd, and a Cantonese-language version avi I got off torrent two years ago. I can't rip the english dvd (some corrupted sectors in the disc)...
...Nonetheless, seeing these Inframan posters you posted here brings back cool memories of when I saw it on the big screen at the RKO Fordham theatre in the Bronx back in the 70's (around the same week Star Wars came out).
Luv all them cool nostalgic posters; thanks for posting them! *^__^*

These posters pop up on eBay fairly frequently; you just have to do some specific title searches. FRANKENSTEIN'S KUNG FU MONSTER was the Taiwan-produced SUPER RIDER V3 (based on KAMEN RIDER V3 for which they rented props and costumes from Toei). Some stills ended up in the pages of Famous Monsters #133.
