That is how it should have looked from the start intead of having the giraffe neck. Look normal now.

He looks like he got squashed by Mario's hammer

don't think so. now it looks like any other giant super robot. nothing to do with being squashed at all. on the contrary, now it doesn't look like it was pulled out of the mold by the head, all while the metal was still soft.

The best thing about Big O's design is that it stands out. I don't see being "normal" and looking "like any other giant super robot" as a good thing.

You don't like it, but I do. Agree to disagree, and of course, the real Big-O has the long neck you like anyway.

Big O is anything but ordinary. That is what I love about him

The problem of Big O having a short neck as oppose to the one that he has, his head get lost because of the proportions of his entire arms and his entire legs.
his suppose to look like an actual old robot (literally OLD) base like in the old days of steam engine like trains and such. if you guys look closely he looks more like a train on the front.

yes, he used to ride on a train in the cartoon as well that would take him to different places under the city. i like how he looks because i never felt he was a super robot. he was like an old robot made with old technology. nothing like the super robots that use ficticious energy sources like photonic, gren, getter rays or g-stone power. he was more like a real robot but from the early 1900s.

I love Big-O. Both the robot and the show. I missed out on getting the weapons set and I only took a few shots of him. He is one of my favorite looking mecha designs from the 21st century Anime shows.

I completely love Big-O's design. I find it funny that we're focusing on the neck when he has Popeye arms The Max Gohkin one is really unique and big with the lighting gimmick, but the SOC is priced just right though it sucks that his additional accessories like his car is sold separately. Since I've started collecting the SRC's I'm looking forward to his SRC version which is much more affordable for me.

Oh man. This is one of my favorite figures. I think it, along with my Konami Great Impact Gurren Lagann would be the last 2 figures I would ever part with.

Yeah SOC Big-O is one of few robots that I have "back up" copy of. Extremely sturdy too. W/O going into to gory detail, mine was thrown against the hardwood floor with full grown force and only thing that broke off was the car ramp in the foot.
Not even the actual door broke , but hinge in the ramp inside the foot broke?!? I'm safe with letting my child play with this W/O worrying.
