Ridiculously low price for this figure, really. Hell, I thought it was a steal when I got it for $40, and I still believe that it was.
I'm going to be rolling in Alteisens if I'm not careful, haha. Two Banprestos, one DH Alt Reise, an EOTech 1/100 model, the Deformer SD Alteisen....

Pardon my off-topicness here, but does anyone here have the Unifive Huckebein? How is it? The seller with the $35 Alteisen has it for the same price and I'm considering grabing one.

It's pretty good. You can probably guess the drill - decent amount of metal, lots of joints, but unlike Alt which is festooned with ratchets they're mostly ball and swivel joints which means you should be prepared to do a lot of out-of-the-box joint tightening. The first one I got also had its left leg snapped off in the packaging... but I don't know if that's typical or not. I like it, though. The paintwork is a bit sloppy here and there, but it comes with a bunch of weapons, a nice, classy display base, and hey, it's a Huckebein Mk.II. If you want one, it's the best one to get. Just beware, getting an Alteisen and a Huckebein might entice you to continue collecting SRW figs and model kits. You've been warned.

Thanks, Quinjester . I guess for $35 it's a nice haul, then. If the shipping cost is right (Canada probably doesn't get free shipping), I'll grab one. Just beware, getting an Alteisen and a Huckebein might entice you to continue collecting SRW figs and model kits. You've been warned. Too late for warnings, I'm afraid. I already had the Unifive Alteisen and a couple of Kotobukiya kits, and the Daizengar SOC is on its way. This hobby is brutal. I'm just happy I've held off on those new SD ones... so far.

Yeah. The Unifive Huckebein MkII is not half bad. Basically what Quinjester said. Also, the hands are molded with the weapons. While it helps on stability in the grip, it limits you from having Hucky holding all the weapons all at once, with extra hands dangling around. Mine still have decently tight joints with no floppiness. It has very good articulation for a gokin toy, similar in range with the Alteisen, minus the ratchets on the joints. Oh, and the yoyo weapon is a bit fiddly, doesn't attach too well on the left arm.

I finally got mine today!!!
Here is my opinion on this toy.
Metal content - good heft for the size - above average. about a little bigger than 1/144 size Paint - good grimicks - great quality - poor
Where should I start??? The shoulder pad launchers on mine doesn't close all the way (the lower door)
The joints on the shoulders felt like it will break anytime with limited movements The pelvis waist joint "swings" too much, making it leans either L or R too much.
The upper leg joints are too damn tight, u have to leave it leaning on the display. pose - limited range of motion. display stand - great
conclusion - @35, this is a must buy. I am going to forever leave it as a display stand. you can't really play with it.

hetabattousai, I agree with everything you said, basically same stuff I had to say about it. mine wil be displayed only as for the shipping delays/mistakes, he was probably overwhelmed by the sudden surge in alteisen orders... I did warn him though! I said you might see a surge of orders lol. might spring for the huckebein

Got mine today, the hip joints on this one seemed tighter than on my previous, so I opened the thighs up (three screws) and snipped the edges of the sprung teeth section of the ratchet with some sprue cutters. His ratchets are smoother in one direction than the other, now, but they feel much lighter and I don't feel like I'm torquing his entire hip joint anymore.

CHACHIPOWER!!! do more reviews!!! Collectiondx are great but they lack the metal content comparison and clickiness reviews. Check out the RJ main page, there is a link to all my videos! Im just getting used to a new editing program so It may be a couple a videos more before I perfect the metal content effect.
