I am hoping this as a set as well. This has been one of my toys that I wished as a child to own.

They come up fairly often on Yahoo Japan, although I just did a check and the only one up right now is a limited clear one.

Thanks guys, uhh dont want clear one... what do they usually go for though? im tempted to wait for soc but not sure if it will look as dynaimc as this one, but from what im reading the gigabrain one isnt that well articulated, but still id like to add it to my collection..... im sure the soc will be around 300 looking at how much the current ones have been, and hell its like 4 robots right?

yeah it should be expensive like Godmars and Dancouga when it comes out, that gigabrain one looks neat makes me really want the SOC one, by the way is there a release date estimate for this figure

It's not that expensive, usually less than $30, but not real big either, like maybe 5 inches or roughly 14 cm. There were a few different color variations on this too. There was a black with gold and also a silver with red, but all of them seem to sell for about the same price generally and all look pretty good. From what I've seen the articulation in the upper body is fine, but the legs have some limitations.

OT: Hey guys, new to the board. Been collecting for a few years now (since 2004). Oh, Bandai does love to tease, don't they? This is awesome news! First Daitarn 3 and now this. And it looks like they will be released in 3 sets... A transformable Tobikage w/ the lion, an "Action Type" Tobikage w/ the eagle and "Action Type" Zerokage w/ the dragon. This is gonna be sweet, but also a wallet buster.

Interesting release plan. Lion bot comes with the transforming Tobikage, while the other two bot sets come with the action figure type Tobikage & the Zerokage. Getting all 3 sets you get everything. But for the budgeted collector, they have a choice to pick & choose.
I like that idea.
