I really hope the translation's just off and the 100 units limited will just be the "autographed" figures for the event and that there would be a mass release later on.
Then again, crazier things have happened in this line.
I can't imagine how much this one will go for on the secondary market if it's really going to be limited to 100 units.

Yes, that is what I think from the 'Japanese' magazine... the first 100 get the autograph and handshake with Nagai. It doesn't mention how many units will be produced.

Completlist doesn't mean turning into a starwars-fan-like... ^__^ As Gold say, I just hope it's only limited for 100 signed figures... Then it will be a kind of same price as the Atami version threw Tamashii web... to be sold out continued..

Out of curiosity....does Bandai ever officially disclose the production run of these "limited" releases? Like the GX-45A? Does anyone knowwhat the run was on that one? As for GX-45C, and the reported 100 piece run, you can forget the Atami prices we saw. This one will be 3X that.

Okay, here are the good news coming from my friend from Bandaï staff :
"The GX-45C will come out early at the Go Nagaï museum event, but in any case it will be a limited item. National release will come after. No date confirmed yet."
So, I am waiting news to know if it will be a mass release or a tamashii exclusive.
Edit : 1st run will be between 3000 and 5000 pieces.

Thanks for the good news Lejam, whew. Gokinrob, sometimes Bandai lets folks know the release numbers (like with the Gx-01RB, limited to 1000), sometimes not (the GX24 DVD Tetsujin), the list is often posted in their annual Project Ironsoul books (aka the SOC encyclopedias/guidebooks, that are actually reprinted images from Dengeki Hobby Magazine press release photos plus additional images and upcoming projects teasers) Gold

face it, these signed GX-45C will be hellishly expensive after market. I'm thinking most of the people who will be lining up are investors more than collectors. Contrastly, most of the people who will pay after market cost for it will be collectors. The right to "form a queue" thing is starting to sound like the mafia!

As long as I can get my hands on the GX-45C, it does not matter whether it comes autographed. The autographed one will be extremely expensive anyway, so no point getting it.
I guess it'll probably be released as a tamashii web exclusive and likely to be balloted (again).

So, does it seem true that 500 will be sold as a Tamashii Wed Exclusive? This will raise the chance to get one for a decent price... or let's say a less blood-sucking price.

For diehard fans of Go Nagai, there is one piece of autographed GX-45C on yahoo japan auctions. The price is crazy but if you must really get it, perhaps you might wish to get some japanese contact to bid for it. page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n88055018

375 bucks... that's crazy. I will buy one of the normal ones, if they will be sold at the TWS.
