Ah, I didn't notice. I just knew that it was supposed to be a "July 2012" release. Still, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that anybody that pre-ordered is prioritized for the first run and that they really are bringing the stock they have above the pre-orders to the convention.

Yeah, but the pre-orders (first run) were sold out. So you might think that all customers who pre-ordered would be taken care of first.

So... we're a week after TFCon... and I haven't heard anything new about my pre-order. Did anybody else who pre-order getting a shipping notice this past week? Mine is still listed as "Pending" on the FPC site.
I'm still unclear if the number of pre-orders taken exceeded the number of specimens in the "first-run." If so, then that's a bad mistake - they should have stopped taking pre-orders once they met the number they planned for the first-run. Then take the leftovers to the convention if there were cancellations or there weren't enough pre-orders...
It seems they kept pre-orders open for quite a long time until shortly before the TFCon announcement and then suddenly Steel Core was "sold-out" and they stopped taking pre-orders. That, to me, is suspicious because it seems like they didn't know what their stock situation was and suddenly stopped taking orders so that they could have some stuff to bring to the con... that would make me... upset, to say the least.

According to the guys over at Tfw those who got a preorder in and paid have secured one. FP did keep track of number of unit sold vs available.
It seems like order number <200 is being shipped. But I'm not sure. It may take awhile before it gets to mine too. Mines still pending.

Last Saturday, I received a reply from Fans Project Core regarding the status of my order and how their order processing works in general:
"Hi Charles,
Thanks for your email!
First of all, let us apologize for the delay in response. We were attending TFCON a big show in Canada and had a lot of work before and after the show that has backed us up in emails.
You can check the status of your order under the Orders tab in your account. Pending means it has not been shipped and Complete means it has been shipped.
We are shipping orders in priority of order number, but cannot guarantee that it arrives in the order in which we shipped or guarantee when specific order numbers will be shipped. This is why we have chosen to start our shipping earlier than the release date that was provided to ensure that customers receive their orders with as little wait as possible. Is is usually typical for most manufactures not to ship their product until after their official release date. We started our shipping nearly 2 weeks before ours in hopes to get packages out for all of our orders much faster.
-- Thanks,
Fans Project Core Staff"

Okay, that was reassuring. Question 3 was my concern on whether or not they are processing orders from preorders first and if I was really guaranteed my figure while they sold leftovers at the con. Is it just me, or are they fielding a lot of unreasonable questions? Of course they can't guaranteed the order of delivery once they ship out... I wouldn't expect to get mine before anybody else being that the border crossing could take up to a week if I'm unlucky... :-P
Anyway, thanks for sharing the post!

So from what I read there is no planned overload repait, or any repaints. That overload thing was something that might come out as an upgrade kit. I guess as soon as I sell a few things I will see about ordering one of these somehow.

Mine had finally arrived despite order status still pending. I like it a lot, very playable. The transformation is good but not as smooth as I had hoped.

Yep, I also got mine yesterday. I still have not taken it out of the box yet, I will probably play with it this weekend. Funny how FansProject Core states that we should look at the order status update, but they fail to update it.

Oh dear... maybe I should check my mailbox in the morning (I tend to ignore going down the street to the communal post office box if I'm not expecting anything important). Edit: as of Thursday, it hadn't arrived (but I got a bunch of bills in my mailbox... boo!). However, I rechecked FPC and now my order is marked Completed, so that's something. Maybe next week?

Still nothing for me... Even no reply to my e-mail... (yet ?) They replied me once, when I was asking about low value declaration for shipping (they don't accept that). Now I pay attention to the e-mail adress : community@agesthreeandup.com So that's mean agesthreeandup.com is in charge of shipping of Fansproject products (that's also why Fansproject was showing on TFCON this year). BTW, by the past, Fansproject allways sucks with communication, hope they will make it better with the core website.

I've still not got mine yet, and on the site it's still "pending" order 565...

Got mine (still pending too in my Fansprojectcore account).
Transformation is basic. Love the robit mode and design. Alt mode really need a trailer. Ankle start to get loose a bit, the body tend to fall when positionning leg with bending knee on first plan.
BTW, great figure and toy line. Familly picture :

Just checking in. Mine arrived in the regular mail today so that seems about right if they shipped around the middle of 2 weeks ago.
Also want to say I like him very much. Plastic build doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. Makes him more playable (Defender scared me of scratching his paint too much from the the metal parts).

From : www.fansprojectcore.com/news/2012/10/26/wb-002-trailer-development-and-re-release-of-wb-002-steel-coreSo re-issue for the Warbot 02 is a good news but this trailer is just an evac with troppers inside... Does it come with them in a bundle ? Does it Transform to make an Armor ? Does it fit for a single "My Little Poney" ? Does it smell strawberry ? ... This looks like a side project from FP comissionned by FPCore crew. Due to the unknown identity of this character, I know that FP was first not so sure they will sold out this item if it was produce more than 500 unit on first run. But the demand on Warbot 02 was enough huge to make them planning a 2nd run.
