Sweet, I got the email and ordered one. Feeling sorry for those that over paid. I mean, I was interested in getting one, but not when the secondary market has them at 250-300$. As always, FP stuff are way over priced on the secondary market, so I just don't understand why there are people out there that are so unpatient and overpay for this stuff. Whether it is the Crossfire 2 set or the Magnus armor, everything seems to get reissued.

I waited too long, now he is sold out again. Oh well. Guess I will get Riobot GL instead. I think you be more happy with Riobot Gurren Lagann anyway. It is way better it terms of bang for your buck. Aside from the possibility of making some potential money, there isn't much to like about this warbot. Head sculpt pretty ugly, my opinion though, robot mode not the best looking, not really a homage Transformers character. Honestly doesn't fit in with anything and feels out of place when place next to any of the other transformers. This figure is nothing short of, I ordered one just cause it was available. I mean aside from recreating some of the promo pictures I seen from Fansproject to put in my display, I really don't even care for it. I mean 93$ with shipping for a figure I consider to be no more than an accessory to the first warbot and the new one isn't cheap. That said, I am way more excited for the Assaulter Warbot 3

I am getting the GL for $106 shipped from Ami. I do feel like I am getting a lot more of a value after watching video reviews for both figures. The engineering of the Riobot is amazing. I do like this figure, but there is something I don't like about it, and I can not put my finger on it. I actually like the face sculpt and don't mind that his in not a homage. But there is something that irks me when I see certain poses. I also am not sure if this figure is worth $93 to me. Maybe he is, but I feel like if the final price was a bit less I might feel better.

So I got mines today, and the face actually looks a lot better in person. The Transformation on this one is a lot easier than the other two, but the first time around, them pegs are a little too big for some of the slots to fit in. So like Assaulter, I took a little time to try and get everything lined up correctly. Out of the three, Steel Core is the easiest to poise. Much more stable than Defender and more mobility than Assaulter. While his ankles may be a little loose, at least it isn't like Defender small little feet with little articulation, and balance issues. It also isn't overly big and blocky making his limbs and parts a lot easier to move versus Assaulter.
The only thing that I don't quite like about it is the gaps around the hip/crotch area. This figure could of benefited with some front waist plates. At least this is better than looking at Defender from the side. Looking at Defender from the side, the first thing you will notice is how far back the head sits. Defenders head also just floats and you clearly see a gap where the head/neck rest on top of the plate that is connected to the back of the figure.
