Congrats! How is it? Hows the quality/engineering? I've seen on other boards tabs breaking off so I hope those are just from manhandling it. Can't wait to get mine. Thanks! I haven't spent so much time having fun with a single toy as I have with Diesel. The quality is awesome and the engineering never fails to impress. I needed to keep the instructions out for this one. Yeah, read about the people breaking their tabs on another board but I think they're forcing things to go into one place when they're supposed to do something else first. Sorta like going from A directly to C but skipping B. Just take your time with it. Very satisfying experience for me. BTW, mine came with an extra piece in a plastic baggie outside of the box. Turns out the handle of gun doesnt quite fit into the M3 big hands so they included a replacement. I was wondering what the extra piece was for. =)

Received mine to : it's heaviest than I thought. I did not transform it yet (PE Warden stole the show !) Edit : ok, notice guide is helping a bit (afraid of breaking pegs) (WARDEN IS SO STURDY !!!) I transformed it from Truck to Robot mode... (FP was also nice to add back-transforming pictures to reverse from robot to truck) Now I try to assemble exo form to be ready to add the rest of the crew. HA HA, Menasor feet still looking like slippers, but FP add some ruber parts to make it stick to the surface (clever). Edit 2 : Ok I just broke a peg !!!!!! When transforming from robot to Menasor, be carreful with the pannels in the back, those with the rotating couple of tires, they have to peg in 2 hole : 1 close to the bassin and another on the shoulders (I broke the lower peg). -> at 31:36 on Peaugh review : Also pay attention on the rotating joint when you need to swivel the bassin to align on thorax -> 31:15 To be continued...

Sorry to hear about your broken tab Lejam. Strange, but by the time I get to the part where I have to align the back panel upwards, the tab just goes in with no resistance at all.

Isn't parked car on Menasor's shin the one prominent feature on Menasor in the cartoon? I like it that way. Nevertheless it's nice to have options.

Aww man that sucks! This is my first time with a FP product and it seems like they use a LOT of tabs and count on the flexibility of the plastic to hold things together. I still haven't gotten my Diesel but when I do I'm watching the video at the same time and being extra careful.

Finally received mine today. Took pretty much a couple hours to transform everybody into combined form. Unfortunatelylike Lejam I broke the same tab too but it really doesn't change anything. But wow its bigger then I thought. Getting to combined form was a chore but it looks so good when done. Not as sturdy as Giant but way more posable with more personality. As a bonus my brother told me he picked up a Colossus set for me while in Hong Kong. I also didn't get the extra gun pieces and needed some time with a exacto blade to shave down the handle so it would fit. But overall I'm very happy.

Ouch! What I do is I don't fully rotate the wheels yet when I put the back panels upwards. Only when everything lines up correctly do I rotate it and tab in at the same time. Seems to work for me.

You can't compare these 2 item : 1 is a massive combiner and warden is simple headmaster. BUT, Warden is a big surprise : imo, best 3rd party toy of the year with FT Quakewave. If you already have combiners like FPs and/or Maketoys, this one will complete well a great line up. But this Warden is amazing by a lot of facts (engineering, design, quality, etc...), it beats them all. Check Peaugh and TJ reviews.

@ Chen : Maketoys and Fansdproject offering a great line-up a could justify a unique collection with only these figures. Perfect Effect is coming ride on time to complete this (my only focuses + MPs for my TF collection). (I really need to buy a good camera ! ! !) Diesel is nice without all the weapon and side panels... Menasor head/helmet need maybe horns instead of this samurai "v" ornament...

Comparing it to the upgraded Bruticus, Giant's joints and connections are just so much tighter and sturdier!

Yup IMHO Giant still feels the sturdiest out the three, Colossus looks nice but in the end it's still basically just a upgrade kit. Menasor looks the best IMO but can be a tad finnicky to transform though.

Finally put him together after all this wait (was it as bad as the MP VV wait?). I really like him except for the hollow cavity between his neck and the chest plate. So he looks good from any angle except when looking down at him.
Have any of you come up with a filler piece for the cavity?
