I have the first Metaltech one with Spazer and a custom Anime head that TheMazingerZ made, I was thinking about getting the chrome version but I think I'll wait for the new one to come out. Plus I got Transformer MP's to buy still and stuff I pore-ordered that I forgot about lol.

Yeah, by now some of you might know that I'm a "picky picker." I guess I just want a "average" slender Grendy that has nice thick neck, with bigger than average hands with "normal"Grendy feet... I don't know... may be SRC articulations with HLPro Vinyl proportion thrown in? ;D I think youd be real happy with the new MTChrome. Photos dont do it justice. HLpro told me that the paint on it was about twice as thick as the older MTs. I was studying the articulation and to increase movement of the upper leg would mean changing the shape of the pelivs and it wouldnt look as cool after they did that. Elbows really turned out not to be a problem with me. In a static stance against a light background you can see the spaces but not that bad. When you put him in any kind of pose the spaces pretty much disappear. The red forearm fins actually GO INSIDE that space if you want them to so it pretty much fills itself. The only thing HLpro could make better on that figure is to do a double ball jointed neck instead of a single ball joint on the top and a hinge on the lower part. But for the money, all in all.. Id just go with the MT Chrome and get it over with. The revised MT01 could take a year or so..after Jin Jin, they got another figure coming out and it wont be MT01 "ultra" as I call it.

Looks like bandai is really going to WAR next year with other brands !! Yeah we all would love that wouldn't we its actually the new SRC grendizer Thanks for this! I'm not too crazy about the proportions either. That said... could this possibly mean a Shin Grendizer Anime coming next year? Oh and it does seem to be still shorter than the SOC, but definitely taller than the SRC Maz me thinks... Gold

How come I don't see an SRC Spacer somewhere in that picture? An SRC Grendizer without an SRC Spacer is just half the equation!!! }D

You just know the Spacer's going to be an "optional" weapons set... either that or it's going to be an online downloadable PDF file that you can print on cardboard and fold into a 3D Spacer to save costs... lol. ;D I pray I'm wrong... ;D Gold

Weird that they would show a toy for Shin Grendizer Anime before they announce the show. But my guess is we will see Shin Grendizer Anime in 2013.

HA Ha Chen and Gettershadow you guys kill me ;D LOL That's EXCATLY how I justify spending money on this hobby. I get robot about one or two a month and only after I do a minor house project or major chore done. I tell you what, if this Grendy is indeed based on a upcoming anime, I'm %100 there. Getter shadow, I'm still not feeling the current Metaltech Grendy's sculpt, so I'm going to wait for HLPRo Grendy 2 to see how that one's going to look. But still thanks for the awesome video review though. I really appreciated. I can't wait for your next one

the SRC version looks pretty nice as an update for him, it makes him looks much stronger and more powerful. kinda disappointing that he will not be able to hide his leg when he combines with the spazer unless he will not hide it because he will fit in it completely making the Spazer even bigger("if" they do the spazer unless they are going for the Double Spazer instead).
for some strange reason the proportions are kinda familiar like i saw them somewhere but i cant put my finger on it. maybe on a manga or something, perhaps on the resin statues.
i do agree that the waist area is a bit to small.

Wow, didn't expect this much negative feedback from the SRC Grendizer, since you guy anticipated it so much. But I do agree that the SOC proportion look fine as is, and the new take is a bit beefy. The SOC is all I need for Grendizer, but that is just me.

The huge forearm spikes make it look ALOT like theRevoltech, which most of us hate. The face looks mean which i like, but those horns are very thin and kinda small, look at the faroff shot, see the horns compared to head and body?My only conclusion is this is indeed a shin Grendizer, but then I would think a shin Grendy would have a more serious overhall, like color tweaks as the Shin Maz has compared to original Maz.you know,a darker feel.We see larger upper legs and strange feet to be the big standouts, this could just be a Grendy for a "new" generation. I will get it,but man here we go again a whole nother set of 4 Spazers,.that makes 4 main sets of 3 Spacers SOC,CMs,HLPro and SRC.I really dont want to display 4 sets of 4 different Spazers, thats 16 ships in all if they all are released.4 drill,4 marine etc,etc and Im sure alot of guys have teh mini set from HLpro too!.
What Ill probably do is display the original SOC set and the CMs set amongst the other Grendizers.how about you kids??

Too me it looks a lot like the CMS one we saw. I actually liked the Revoltech one. I like the one in the pic more than the SOC
