Too me it looks a lot like the CMS one we saw. I actually liked the Revoltech one. I like the one in the pic more than the SOC The CMs one is much closer to anime accuracy than this thing. You like style over anime accuracy AA but thats cool, everyone likes different things.Probably why you like the Revoltech one also.I just think its too exagerated.

Hmmm... "Revoltech Grendizer sculpt" sounds about right. Fortunately it doesn't sport the same horrible "neck-shoulders" and crappy face. }D

indeed, the revoltech one was a mess to look at, specially the head was way super tiny that it almost gets lost and the painting on the head was certainly bad.. don't get me wrong, it was a good figure for what it was but not the best.
now i remember the design of this Grendizer it looks like one of those pretty awesome manga covers.
edit: i should have notice it, is the Ken Ishikawa grendizer version.

He looks absolutely horrible. Why couldnt they have made him the same body type as Mazinger and Great Mazinger? Maybe he'll look better once we see him in a few action poses. As of right now this is really disappointing.

Bandai is taking way too many liberties with their designs lately. They didn't even try to make the lower arms and feet closer to the anime! }D

The proportions is off... head, waist and pants are too small.

Here's another angle on SRC Grendy.
I filtered the photo from Cybergundam.

From a huge Grendizer fan (me) to Bandai: what terrible piece of crap is this?
And since when Grendizer has 'sunflowers' instead of screw crushers on his arms?
Bottom line: God bless HL PRO.

Its just hard to believe that after making such a nice Grendizer figure, the GX-04, Bandai would devolve their design to what we see here in this SRC. I hope they reconsider and make all the pertinent changes to the figure before it is released. }|

Bandai should stay away from the King and stick to their Mazinger and Gundam stuff!

Yeah. You might be right. I don't know if that is always the case but I think I generally want it to have a look that connects with me. There was a thread on the forum about Anime Accuracy vs Style that really summed up my feelings as well. I think it was a post by Chen if my memory serves. Of course..it often does not. LOL In the end I am certainly not going to hate on someone for loving on anime accuracy. I think the real thing is....I just cannot hate on an SRC Grendizer. I really did not think we would get one this soon. Plus now I have hope for Mazinkaiser, Gaiking, and Shin Getter!!!!!

Nice photoshop chogokinabdul!
Not liking the forearms and thunder thighs. Hopefully Bandai will improve on these before it is released.
Cheers,

It's better, but now the lower legs look too short to me.... If this Grendy is not based on anything but a artistic license, then Bandai needs to have Danguard team "massage" this thing a little.

Is it too much to ask for THE PERFECT Grendizer? CM's is my last hope, or I'm going to hire my own artist to make the perfect one

How sad news. After all this waiting and Bandai make a piece of junk like this? The Bandai CEO must be into fat legs. My bet is that the new version of the metaltech Grendizer will be the best and most accurate Grendizer ever made. I hope the dont screw that up like Bandai just did.

Well, with the Metaltech don't leave it posed too long with its elbows bent. Not if you want your screw punch to ever sit flush again.
