Yeah.
Pricier and alot shorter character figures than typical SHFs. I got Ryoma on po, but I'm really wavering on keeping it.
Incidentally, why the fugazi hasn't Bandai made and release the SHFs of the pilots?!?!?

These getters are a steal at about $100 shipped!! Please dont miss them.
As far as i can tell, Torso, thighs, lower legs, elbow joints are metal.

Skipping on the Ryoma (4" pilot figure) I don't feel that price to be reasonable. Now the reissue of the Getters, that I'm on board with.

This is straight re-issue right? I don't see any indication that these will be different from the 1st release. In the 1st release I think it was the knuckle spikes that had a tendency to fall off and I think there was some concern about the neck opening on the capes.. right?

How much diecast in it? or exactly where? Try to scroll 2 pages back, I posted a review to both there. ancer, my biggest gripe was the covers for the butt plugs. Black Getter's was fused in so any attempt to remove the cover results in literally breaking it.. while on the opposite extreme the Red Getter's plug couldn't stay plugged in for dear life. Hopefully the reissues will address these issues. Gold

preo from AmiAmi. I'll play with a little bit and if I don't like it I'm gonna sell it. If you like the looks from the pics, I don't know why you wouldn't like it, unless you were expecting it to be much larger or end up with a dud. It's a gorgeously well articulated figure. Even the lower legs, which I thought looked way too short on the pictures, looked fine to me "in person". It looks especially good in action poses, which really makes the sculpt shine; not as much in static upright "statue" position, but not nearly as bad as, say, a Revoltech. It actually looks fine standing straight (unlike a Revoltech), but you'll notice the short legs much more and the space between the neck and the head (the latter being a non-issue on Black Getter, thanks to its scarf, as Gold said in his review). I was considering sculpting new, longer, lower legs for both Sentinel Getters, but they looked so good in the end that this idea dropped to the bottom of my to-do list, in the "no chance in hell of ever getting this done" section. With their price and the time wasted on modifying and already so good-looking figure, it just seemed nearly pointless. But if those re-release ever go on sale for a really attractive price... maybe. But then, so many things to do and so many things to buy...

Now I like it alot more than the Bandai versions.

Yeah, i usually dont like buying robots that dont look right in the promo shots, but these guys are just exceptional.
They look kinda off in some pics due to Reds the head and neck area, and the feet do look kinda funny...
Having said that, they shine with perfect blend of alloy and superior joint system, they truly are gem in my collection. Its neck and neck with Fewture Getter Gs. And thats not a small feat for figures that cost one fifth of its closest rival.

It's just because I want to focus in collecting SoC line and nothing beyond that. I have a bad habit before which is collecting whatever I see. BUT man!! this black getter looks so good. but again If I decide to finally keep it where should I put it? because all the toys I have are from SRC and SoC.
as for getter 1 I just can't get over the long neck lol. I think I like the SoC ver. more.
