I never transform my MP Prime. I am into the not form solely. Always have been.

The thing that worries me are the removable panels. If their Getters and mazinger are any indication, the panels will fall off if air flows the wrong way. looks great like all their products.

Truly beautiful... But at $600+, not for me.
I think most people (although they won't do) want a transformer to Transform. My MP-01 has been transformed to truck mode 2-3x since it came out of the box.
A 17 in METAL transformer sounds AWESOME - If it will transform. Otherwise, just another gorgeous statue.

And how many 17 inch diecast light-and-sound gorgeous statues of Optimus Prime are there, exactly?

Can't even think of any 17" diecast robot period. There is the daigokin stuff for the Nagai SR at 2'. After that everything is 12" or smaller.

I know... 17" exciting and should be pretty nice.... Just the price point is so crazy. I keep trying ways to justify the spend.... Just can't yet

I haven't seen anything official, but just going from what was mentioned... No idea about price but it is a Artstorm product and 17" tall with lights and a remote control so it won't be cheap. I'd be surprised if it's under $600. I think he's right. Most of the 12 in Diecast are aroung $400 or so... I would guess $500-$600 is probably the price point for 17" tall guy.

There's no THUMBS down, otherwise... Early 2015?! Damn that sucks!
But I guess it's worth it for good quality.

Is Art Storm going solo on this project? I don't see Takara's name anywhere; I guess it would figure prominently if they were. Too bad, that could mean a little less painful hit on the wallet if they were co-producing it. Or maybe not. They love money too, eh.

The good news is, the price is not $600! It's 78,000 Yen, actually.

$&@*±#!!!
792.17 US dollars!?!
Let's just hope this one is available at larger online stores like AmiAmi, as the EM Gohkins were. I could sure use a little 20% off.

How about just passing up on a useless statue all together? That's my plan. I don't want to take out a low interest loan for that guy.
