Nice pics. You know, it occurred to me, is Premium Prime a premium only because of it's blade? And can the movie original version hold the blade?

Damn these toys are so affordable (individually) that you get sucked in... I want to repaint them (have the paints but not the time---yet!---nor the talent hahahaha)...

i dont have any of the movie toys. i liked the movie and i think its a good set of toys and a good thing for tfs in general but i didnt get into how alien they look which actually makes more sense that aliens should look alien rather than like cars with arms sticking out but i didnt get into that. so many repaints and versions of the same characters too and so many toys that werent in the movie. im still all about bts at the moment and thinking about animated. prowl is very cool.

talking to my friend who works at wal mart the other day. they had a shipment of first wave movie deluxes and the majority of the 78 camaro BB's are being returned. the cause? they don't transform back properly. the nose of the car droops down slightly from the rest of the car. my first wave is like that too...I guess the spring weakens or the plastic does.

John, I still like you even though you do shoot with a Noink! LOL I don't have any pics on this thread, were you only talking about this thread? What's you light setup? From the Exif, it looks like you just use the on camera flash, so I'm guessing Photoshop cleans it all up? ;D

If only I haven't invested so much on Nikon glass I could have crossed the dark side a long time ago but also I am so used to the interface of Nikon that "old dogs" difficult to teach new tricks ;D

@ Steve & 00silverGT - just messin' around ;D I am very happily married. For all photo buffs: Adobe introduced the Photoshop Express...and it's FREE! ;D Article from TIME: www.time.com/time/business/article/0,8599,1725675,00.html Excerpts: "The best reason to try Photoshop Express is for its image-editing features, which surpass those of any free program currently available. Beyond the standard red-eye removal and cropping features, Express lets you dabble with more advanced options like altering a single color on your image (while leaving the rest of the picture unchanged) or using the touch-up brush to fix multiple problems at once."

John, I'm the exact reverse. I bought so much Canon glass from film, that I had no other choice but to get a Canon body.

Looks like with the G9, your WB is calibrated or set a bit better. I didn't realize how photogenic these toys are, I may have to get into my kids toy bin and shoot some! LOL

LOL I think it is just the way they were post processed.. sometimes a little tweak here and there of teh same pic will result in a different picture... and yes they are photogenic...They have a lot of details... ;D and also they are so affordable!! although of course the $$ adds up... too bad I can't seem to convey or show much of the details...maybe if I shoot them solo each.. and maybe add panel lines etc... Maybe one of these days ;D
