I am creating this thread as a shout-out for Bandai (or Kayoido to do a Revoltech) to make a SRC Kotetsushin Jeeg or a SRC Koutetsu Jeeg. I need a Jeeg figure! Anyone heard any news, whether for a Super Robot Chogokin or a Revoltech Jeeg?

Revoltech sucks,I dont mind plastic at all, just those ridiculous joints and strange dynamic only positions you have to put them in,id rather own a dynamic statue since you cant A pose them anyhow.Bandai wont touch Jeeg, its not their style unless its all modern looking.Jeeg is one SR that NEEDS to stay as is,he belongs to the 70s.Why not a CMs Dammage7?its the best Jeeg available BY FAR! you can still get one for like 350$. HLpro was supposed to do one werent they? I remember seeing a great sculpt from some company that hasnt been made.

Actually, I can see Revoltech joints working in Jeeg's FAVOR since ALL of Jeeg's joints are spheres. they wouldn't need to hide the joints and they'd still look like part of the design as opposed to being Eyesores. the only thing I'd be worried about is them deciding to make the Jeeg a "Pose Only" figure like Getter Dragon

Yeah but its a Revoltech, sorry to sound aloof but they are great if your a beginning collector, but i hate seeing such things amongst my other beautiful robots. They are great for stand ins, like Getter Arc or characters not made, but as a definitive specimen,no thanks for me.if we are gonna wish for an SRC,who wants to settle for a pretzel like piece of hard rubber?

The CM is great but as you said it's $350 that's a lot especially if you live in a Country with crazy duty and shady postal services. A SRC priced Jeeg would be more attainable to more people, have metal, pretty good build quality, and just easier on the wallet. A Revoltech one would be my last choice but it would be much easier for people without the means but still able to get a Jeeg figure.

Would be nice, but IMO Evolution Toy already gotr the Kotetsu Jeeg covered... }D Well, that looks cool and in nice scale but the thing to me is... SRC (or Revoltech) is a company's "line" that I would like to have it uninterrupted by another company's line when collecting a group of Go Nagai's super robots. For me, even if I am gonna display GX-04 next to the other SRC figures, it's still from the same family (line). You know what I mean? However, I am gonna take a look at this Jeeg... Thanx, TMZ.

Well, I like to keep my robots in scale as much as I can - but not the crazy "official" scales, NO! I mean the human to robot scale, that is! Yes I'm hard-headed like that. }D

HLpro was supposed to do one werent they? I remember seeing a great sculpt from some company that hasnt been made. The Original Jeeg in Kotetetsushin Jeeg was a modern rendition of him and the only reason I think Bandai won't make one at the moment because the soc Kotetsushin Jeeg didn't sell well and was actually a floppy mess because some of the magnets wasn't able to hold the weight of the die-cast parts. An src version would be great seeing it doesn't need the magnet gimmick and would be much cheaper than the Dynamite Action Jeeg and also have metal parts. I also don't want a Revoltech version cause I really dislike the feel of the joints and seeing the bad paint job on their Grendizer actually turned me off from them and also the pricing is too close to an src which has a higher quality.

Revoltech are great for kids and to fiddle with, but they are not collector grade toys.I know Jeeg is a Go Nagai character but he seems to be more popular in europe than Japan,I just dont see Bandai doing one,but i said that about Grendizer SRC too and was wrong.

I'm actually kindof torn....I like BOTH Jeeg designs...
Which would be more worth it? Classic Jeeg or Modern Jeeg? (And NO, Shin Jeeg is not a Choice. after what became of the SOC, I've kinda grown to hate Shin Jeeg's overall design...)

Wait, what is a Classic Jeeg and a Modern Jeeg to you? I see the Kotetsu Jeeg as the Classic Jeeg, and Koutetsushin Jeeg as the Modern Jeeg. }D

I think he means the original Jeeg, Hiroshi Shiba, as he looks like in the Shin Jeeg series. That's what Evolution Toys called their figure. "Modern Jeeg". As in "modern rendition of the classic character."

Get it folks! it is TOTALLY worth it! }D i did pre order the classic jeeg from evolution toys on amiami since is cheap and not much choice for selecting other jeeg as CMS version is too expensive for me.

Evolution Toys Kotetsushin Jeeg & Koutetsu Jeeg are very nice but they are taller than the SRC Mazingers (unacceptable in my book) Pffft! That's why I want a Super Robot Chogokin or Revoltech Jeeg(s).

Picture from CollectionDX }D Yes, in opposition to their "New model" Shin Jeeg. But I'm sure I saw a pre-order of it that called it "Modern Jeeg" in addition to "old model". Can't remember where, though. Anyway, the '70s Jeeg looked chubbier and Evolution's take is supposed to be based on its thinner design from Kotetsushin Jeeg.
