Yes. Yes, you do.
Masterforce is G1. Victory is G1. In fact, everything up until G2 is G1. That means Ginrai, Road Caesar, Star Saber, Star Convoy et al. are all G1.

Well I am referring to the toys here, but even the animated shows are still considered G1 - or do you not consider season 3 G1 either just because it was called Transformers 2010 in Japan? Or what about Headmasters? You forget, "Generation 1" is something that was applied retroactively.

well.. like we know G2 anime was actually different from G2 toys. i remembered watching "G2" cartoon but was just CG enhanced version of G1... thinking if thats thats the case we can say theres actually really no G1 coz G2 is not really new in the first place.. its just a label. im kinda comfortable tagging them as titles rather than label them as G1 or G2. but thats just me.

Finally had the chance to play with this bad boy and first impressions are good. The thing is heavy, joints are tight, and engineering is pretty interesting. The transformation sequence for the feet parts and the head is essentially identical to the SOC version but it's the mammoth's where it differs. I like the way they shrink the legs when transforming to mammoth mode. On the negative side: it's too small for its price. I have to put on my readers to really appreciate the details they put on the toy. Seriously with the price, though. WTF. I preordered this because I fell in love with the early videos they showed. This really should only be a $200 toy, not $300.

Sentinel has all sorts of different designers for their various toy lines and unfortunately, the designer chemical attack is not working on the Metamoforce line and it shows as the lack of polish is evident in the dino getters.

Chemical Attack is mostly responsible for the Riobot line. which reminds me, they are overdue on Mazinkaiser updates.
