Anyway, I would love to get one, but shipping is $50. So, $260 total. At the moment, I'm only willing to pay no more than $200 shipped. I'll have to enjoy it through someone else's eyes... }D

Ditto, that's why I'm gonna wait and save money aside for it. Who knows, it would probably get listed as "discounted" somewhere along the way, therefore I don't mind waiting and watching. That Mark Oliver doOod had better NOT go rat to Weppie about this "unlicensed" figure! He is so cool I gotta call him El Cúlo! zozo-mag

LOL! Gotta love the never ever ending stream of dopey FB posters on any product of any kind, that can't bother to look at any descriptions, and just post a comment: "How Much???!" like the world better stop and reply to their post before it gets buried down the thread line. That's what burns my biscuits. ....I really just needed an excuse to reuse Kamenrider's "burns my biscuits" phrase, hahaha! Exclusive Gucci packaging! Some embossed ghost images in the black background would be kinda cool. This looks like it's turning out to be a nice set. Sharp teefs ta tear dat beefs would be nice, but at least the idea is there even if in nub form. Who's going to display with the concerned open mouth alternate face? It did appear quite often in the cartoon.

What really "burns my biscuits" are all the fools who comment accusing this GoLion of being a "Voltron ripoff" and "unlicensed".
I gotta say, I will be SO pissed of those people rat this off to Weppie! Because you know Weppie will do anything and everything to stop this figure from becoming a reality, like they tried to do with the MA-01 VV. Let 'em try that sh*t, I will wage an all-out war against them for sure with an extreme GoLion propaganda campaign!

That Mark Oliver doOod had better NOT go rat to Weppie about this "unlicensed" figure! That's been my biggest fear since they've gone public with this release. Its a double edge sword. While they can communicate with us the fans in an easier fashion they also expose themselves. I doubt they could stop them directly but you never know...

Can they stop this? Its not identical to any voltron it looks similar but different than any other. Are they using a tradmarked name? This is called king of Beast I believe. I don't think that is under the copyright but I have done zero research into the issue. In the auto industry 10% difference would not infringe on the copyright and something about 10 yrs after the product was copyrighted there was some loophole that made it easier for us car guys to make replicas. Still the big companies can keep you in court until you go under with cease and desist in place during the whole thing

man some people are either ignorant not collectors or really super ignorant didnt he/she read what MadToys said about the figure and its 60% diecast i still didnt preorder it, waiting for the review and its hard thing to do because it looks really promising, its now 10 days since they said they will do a review for it and nothing yet @ crpdiablos i think you might be right, the product name isn't Voltron defender of the universe its Golion The King Of Beasts so this actually might count

Nah, I don't think Weppie can stop this. By the time they even TRY it we'll already have this big badass King Of Beasts in our hands. As for those ignorant fools on Facebook who are criticizing this item Without ever even reading into the facts... point 'em out to me, I wanna go on a smashing spree. zozo-mag

For the lazy. The first comment really burns my biscuits... A Voltron movie? Who cares? Hollywood today sucks,if its anything like those awful Transformers movies forget it,so much CGI and explosions you cant even figure out what your looking at. Or it will turn into a dialogue snoozefest and no Voltron til the last half hour like the recently terrible Godzilla movie.

No mark, there isn't a Voltron movie because of ****wits like you. also, that your precious Voltron is just a poorly done dub of one of the Great Anime Classics: Beast King Golion. it's just like those people who want a robotech movie. go watch Macross. geez.

As fans its really frustrating to see our beloved characters get buried under some copyright laws, and I don’t think it’s a good idea to reboot Golion anime show at least not under this circumstances, but it will be good to see the original staff do an OVA for him

As fans its really frustrating to see our beloved characters get buried under some copyright laws, and I don’t think it’s a good idea to reboot Golion anime show at least not under this circumstances, but it will be good to see the original staff do an OVA for him That may not be possible, because Toei sold all their GoL--n rights (along with a few other robots) to Weppie. ("Weppie" = W. E. P.) ( Note: I'm trying to avoid spelling out Weppie's and V___'s full name, to prevent drawing Wep's attention to this board. I'm paranoid like that. Last year Wep tried to stop the MA-01 VV from being sold, but it was already too late as several units got sold in the U.S.; therefore Wep tried to b*tch about it on Facebook, accusing the MA-01 of being a bootleg counterfeit item. I don't want Wep to get involved and pull the same stunt on King Of Beasts. As for the MA-01... Oh well, for being a "bootleg counterfeit" item it sure has its high place in this hobby's history: on my display shelf! ) ---------------- BTW, I wanna make it clear that I'm NOT bashing "V-ltr-n" fans. I understand some of you folks had never seen the G-Lion series in its original version. You only know "V_tr_n, Defender Of The Univrs", because that's how the anime was presented to you here in the U.S. I know, I remember, because I used to watch that Vltrn show on TV when both robots (L-V, and V-V) aired here in the U.S. in '82-'83. At the very end of the final credits, you'll notice Toei's name was left in there-- ---I recognized "Toei", because of the Mazinger-Z series TV show; therefore I started researching and that's how I found out the truth about Vltrn's background origin. If you ever find the original Japanese series version with English subs, grab it. That version is uncensored, all complete episodes, with the character's names intact. zozo-mag

Godzilla 2014... to me it totally sucked when I went to see it in the IMAX theater, but I did enjoy it here at home on bluray. Seemed a lot shorter and to the point the second time around. }D
