Funny to see all wishes for another DX figure. Frankly, I don't think it will ever happen again. While most classic super robots also had the "cut-out" treatment done, it was Mazinger Z that truly made it famous - hence the DX. I do agree, a Great Mazinger (or another super robot) DX would be pretty cool... but it's just not going to happen. }D

i will say at this point that if its in the Chogokin line and not on the SoC, SRC or DX then it most likely it will not be a Super Robot that we know and its gonna be something random like the stupid hello kitty. I disagree. Hello Kitty, ftw! I want a Doraemon reissue. Here Here !!! Can't wait for Hello Kitty... And Doraemon too!!!

I read the GX-46 Dygengaur is technically a DX, as is the Raideen set. Seems like DX refers more to size and just a 'deluxe' amount of extras.

Give me a DX Chogokin Tetsujin 28 Take this piece of advice from someone that recently bought a pretty nice one - there are a lot more fragile areas than you think on a toy of this size, and it is pretty much a toy you just stare at/display. It has some features yes, but it's really about the aesthetic at this point. Really a conversation starter/piece of art.

Then it would be more reason to have a new DX version!

Same with the Grendizer "S". If it does not say "DX" on the box, then it is not a DX. So far there is only one SOC DX figure, and I believe that will be it, at least for a very long time. Besides, for what I have read, the majority of the folks that want another SOC DX figure are indeed referring to a "cut-out" version of the character they want to see as a DX. }D

It's all plastic. Has some issues from the factory but nothing crazy. We both have it and love it. The key to this one is the poseability - it just makes it great.

Below is the best chogokin doraemon from bandai release last time and i just got it recently. 90% diecast. I had this one also. Chachipower bought mine lol. It is an insanely heavy toy. The entire head is diecast, the rest is plastic. It comes with millions of accessories. I found a dead mint one that the figure was opened to check condition but accessories were sealed for $100. Sold it to chachipower for even less than that. They go for stupid money on the aftermarket and there are 2 versions of the damn thing. The first release is the regular one and then the second release includes accessories based on the theme of the "nobita's dinosaur" movie. That one is even more pricey and hard to find. For those of you that have never seen this toy, it is a soft, flat sky blue finish (matte/dull coat) for an anime look. I would much rather it have been insanely glossy like the original chogokin doraemon from 1979. I have the reissue of this toy and it is my favorite!

BTW is Doraeman a cat?? he sometimes has ears and sometimes not ..why?

this is what im refeering to as the Doraeman SR type robot. That's Zandacross! You can pick him up insanely cheap. Like $15 or less. Maybe $20 on a big push. He's always around and not that popular. I have to get one too. He kind of shelf warmed like copy robot (who I also need) from Perman.

But, Doreamon is a robot cat after all... so, it would be easy to add/remove, i guess...
