Here's my FEWTURE Models: EX Gokin - Reideen the Brave Ultimate Godbird Set Unboxing: My Collection Photos: Instagram: robots_are_art
My Thoughts:Well, I've had this for a few months now. I was blown away when I opened it, and that hasn't changed. I've handled this figure quite a bit, and it's excellent. Nothing is loose - all points are stiff. Pieces don't fall off. The finish is flawless and durable. Dragon has been viewed as the pinnacle of EX Gokin design. But this T-Rex (SEN-TI-NEL) collaboration is cutting edge. It's an improvement for FEWTURE in many ways - in particular, the level of articulation and joint system have advanced. While this figure is not as heavy, it is SOLID. It's engineering truly outshines. The pic of the high-kick says it all - the range of motion and strong (but not that clicky) ratchets are fantastic. The Godbird transformation took a while (see the SIX page instructions). But it's massive and awesome when finished. I don't think I'll display that mode, but the weapons formed from its parts complete the set and add value.
Reideen is a departure for the EX Gokin line. While the sculpt is muscular, the monster theme is abandoned. Insane metal content is traded for balance and extreme articulation. When pictures of this figure released, I wasn't sure about it. It was so new and different. But it grew on me. And, I was right; it is new and different. For me, that's a good thing. Am in love with fewture figures 😍

Agreed. But thanks for quoting it on this page amr - I was kinda worried it would get burried.

Lol!! Sorry about that.... Coletron where did you buy this beauty? I found one listing for like $750 and that’s it. If you pre-ordered it was around 35,000 yen. The Godbird was around 10,000 yen. Can still find the Gold version for MSRP for now.

Nice review Coletron! I have this too and agree that even though it may not have as much metal as other EX Gokins, it feels well balanced and looks great!

According to gokin.it: "This is confirmed by the fact that the Reideen Gold was made in collaboration with the T-Rex famous for having designed the models of Sentinel and Arcadia. Many technical solutions are very close to those seen on the Sentinel Mazinkaiser and it is no coincidence that the joints and the kits are practically the same in both models."

I believe NINNIN did the actual design and look of this Raideen but T-Rex helped with the engineering side of this figure for Fewture.
