I am very tempted to catch the metallic... On a side, hard to see that character produced by any other brand (ET plastic, no thanks), on other side, engineering is so poor... Hate those ratcheted knees. C'mon, HLpro has strong designers, why keep such design flaws whereas they thought to give a mobile piece in tights when bending knee ?! I received the Gin Gin Anime Limited : I don't know ! I like and dislike the figure... Even those small SRCs gave me more direct feelings... Displaying Gingin with GX-04 Grendizer will fade out everything in fact... But Gattaiger is way better in term of design polish imo... How are the hips joints ?

Lejamhmmm honestly Gin Gin looks very simple the dark paint killed its details i was going to buy one but now im not sure about Gattaiger i agree its has a simple design but still beautiful Roboizer hips (upper thighs) joints are plastic which i see is a bad thing to make plastic hold diecast parts but they are holding nice tho the ratcheted knees on Roboizer are good but my unit left knee are tight and every time i move it i see the upper legs parts are separating that dont happen on the right leg even with that i see my unit as a QCs free figure comparing it to other members figures bottom line its you and your like bro

I picked up the metallic version and the parcel arrived earlier this week. I'm generally happy with the purchase and honestly, still am not sure why the toy elicited so much negative feelings on here...If I were to give it a very high-level impression, I'd say this toy is a slightly lesser version of a Bandai SoC of the Mazinger/Great Mazinger mold. From far away, it fits right in with those SoCs but up close, you can see just a touch of difference in the overall quality. Not saying this toy is terrible...just that it's a slight notch below the Bandai quality many of us would be more accustomed to...but, it'd make sense given HLPro is a smaller outfit?
The robot itself is a hefty metal and initial reviews of the fists rubbing onto the legs and causing them to color appear to have been addressed as mine arrived with plastic sleeves for each arm in the box.
Anyhow, again, it's not a bad toy...a bit pricey in hindsight but then again, nothing in this nutbar hobby of ours is cheap. Since when does anyone off the street really pay more than $50 for an action figure let alone a few hundred (i.e. Fewture toy). Most people's eyes would twitch if we told them how much some of the hardcore collectors pour in a year, ha.

glad to see them addressing some of the issues on the first shipment units, hopefully from now on most of us will get a QCs free Gattaigers im honestly super happy with mine specially with the Gattaiger i know i mentioned that alot before but i cant give it its justice the paint on it is so vivid and the way it reflect lights is more awesome, Roboizer is normal, i just wish it they done it a little better with more attention to details, i dont hate it tho this is my 2nd HL Pro product im still looking forward to 3 more figures from them

that stunt they pulled off with gattaiger joints was pretty scary.. what more with unreleased or rare made transformers or combiners like Dai Apollon, Ginguiser, Govarian, etc..
unless they do obscure mechs with zero chance of coming out from Bandai and ET.. like Gattaiger..
this will probably be my last product from them.. (any chance doing diecast God Mazinger or Astroganga? lol)

I used "super glue" , it just hold in place, I won't touch it again, no change, no rotating, this plastic is not the quality we are used with other brands... before fixing it: some news from HLPro : "Dear Mr. Paul.
I am sorry that we keep you waiting so long. We are making new parts to repair the problem you got since a month and will be finished soon. New parts must have stronger pin for the fist and it will not give you any stress when you change the hand anymore.
I will send a set of arms under the elbow.
I am sorry for inconvenience and thank you very much for your patient.
Best Regards, Hitoshi Okusaka. HL pro - Reigning Looney Corp. Tokyo Japan." are they making Stronger new partS only for me ? ^^

no, no way... must be a batch of extra repair parts so if people have problems they can send out improved replacement parts. You gotta consider that Gattiger is only the SECOND articulated die cast humanoid figure that they have made with this new "platform" and its going to take time for them to figure out the best way to get it done. Its still the same basic thing as Gin Gin just tweaked here and there.. I think the softer ratchets on Gin Gin was more the way to go though... Gatt is just too tight out-of-the-box in my opinion. He DOES get slicker with time though.. I stil liked the way Gin Gin's joints felt though.. I don't even worry about that hip its the same hip on Gin Gin and its holding fine.
