I have a couple Revoltechs and not really feeling them. Other is the Aoshima Legioss. Don't like it...but can't bring myself to sell it. Oh and the 1st gen Yamato 1/60 Macross. Don't like the floppy legs.

As bad as Revoltech is, it's miles ahead of the monoshaft joints on the stuff that preceded it. Anyone remember those nasty Virtua On figures?

GX-69 Goldymarg is high on my list. Thankfully I got him at deep discount, but while I am sure he is a nice add on to Gao Gai Gar, as a standalone robot he is at best a mid range Transformer, not worthy of SOC title or pricing. Just a big ugly block of orange plastic (seriously? Not painted even!?!) that needs a stick up its butt to stand.
SRC side most disappointing or frustrating is Solar Aquarian. Wobbly and uneven at the waist. Horrible spindly wings that fall to pieces if you look at it. Thankfully it's follow up the Aquarian Evol is a rather nice piece of work.
I have never owned a CM go kin. I start to suspect that might be a good thing from reading here.

i was about to buy goshogun a little while back. they had him on anime export for a reasonable price I eventually passed because the feet bothered me. i hate that everything from the knee down is one piece.

Goshogun is a decent figure with good heft but the joint and articulation was already dated when it was new.

Does miracle productions vehicle voltron counted as chogokin? If it does, then it sucked, or maybe its just mine only. Mine looses its ability to hold a simple pose and stand on its own quickly. Disappointing!

Disappointing! i have this. its not bad at all. i recall there were about 3 revisions and i have the latest i think, so maybe you got an earlier one? i can tell its 3rd party. yes. its not bandai quality or craftsmanship. but then again there are some bandai soc that this is far better than (daiohja im looking at you). i really like it. and i paid about 175 shipped, for that massive piece of metal. i cant really complain about it.

Wow..i see lot of nominations are due to inability to hold poses! This is really interesting to me as i didnt expect this much of broad objection.
I myself thought the material was the most important to me, but i too find myself hating robots that cant even stand. Or cant hold a simple poses.

Daitetsujin GD-17 by Bandai.
I've had 3 new ones in the past and the transforming feature did not work on any of them. That gimmick was the only reason to buy it in the first place.

Yeah, it is indeed a very poplular figure. Im surprised they havent done Renewal re release. When they rereleased it few years ago it sold out pretty quick. If they re engineer the elbows and resculpt the head to make the features sharper, id be down..
But as is, I keep passing it due to its elbows.
