Spin Storm effect part?
...
I didn't know that. Why can't Bandai give us a full list of what's included with this release? Or.. maybe they scratched the Spin Storm idea?
The Tamashi site only lists these accesories:
Set Contents - Body - Replacement wrist (left and right) - Knuckle Bomber wrist parts - Mach drill (left and right) - Soul stage for joint parts
The last one should be the stand adapter. So extra hands, joined hands and drills. Nothing else. Oh.. maybe they'll throw the Spin Storm effect into the option parts set? Damn it Bandai, say something, don't make us figure it all out by ourselves..

preordered one from AE i hate to deal with them but they are offering the cheapest price www.anime-export.com/product/31023only $62 its a $12 more than what the actual figure SHOULD cost since we get almost nothing with it, Bandai became like those fancy restaurants asking more for less not a good mix AT ALL, i really miss the old days when you pay like $100 for a huge Gokin that's loaded with accessories

This is a mass release. If youre a Yank, hang on till Anime Island, and Amazon carries it.
Also dont forget Toy Source. Atleast they will help you if something were to go wrong. Besides, if you buy from them, you dont have to deal with custom and you also don pay shipping.

for me im in Asia i try to avoid US stories because the end price + the shipping are much more for me than Asia's stores for example jeeg at BBTS is for $87 without shipping, in Asia's stores its from $61 to $71 in my opinion its about where the figure is been made and by who, the 30th anniversary Voltron was much cheaper in US stories than Asia's one so it depends and i totally understand if you want to stay away from AE but since i already have 1 last item with them and the release date is about the same time i went with them you guys can go with AmiAmi 2nd cheapest almost the same price at AE www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-017900&page=top

Jay
So far , only Toy Source carry Giant Robo for a whopping $94........Hopefully Others will carry it soon for a lower price. Giant Robo should be considered mass release as its not Tamashii exclusive.
Meanwhile, if you see it for around 30 percent off, please get it if you dont want to wait. I got my Giant Robo for around $60 from CDJ. for around $60, id keep the preo and not cancel. I figure thats a decent price for a fairly obscure robot that got lucky enough to get a SRC treatment....

Release Aug. Price 9504 yen from Taghobby Preorder prices started coming in.. its around 6000yen it seems Bandai tend to overprice some products in these previews.. i dont think this was the result of pressure they felt from complains on the unreasonable price..

Sometime even my local comic book store in San Francisco Bay Area would have some of these SRC cheaper than listing on BBTS and other online retailer. Was able to pick up SRC MazingerZ locally at one point for $20. Another example, Look at the SRC God Sigma on Amazon online. It's a domestic release here in the USA and Amazon is still trying to sell it on clearance prices. And Amazon has free shipping. Amazon Prime members get free two day shipping.

Looks alright.. good enough for me.
If I get it, I will probably display it with the Mach Drills attached. I might even buy a tamashi stand so I can give him a nice flying pose. Short-arm problem solved!

Is this one better than the cms one? i mean, metal quantity, i dont see any reason for buying it.

Its an option for sure. A Nice option. Some bros just cant have too many Jeegs. But if you want one Jeeg, the CMs one is super nice indeed. Its arguably the best CMs gokin. SRC one im sure the joints and lower legs will be diecast. Possibly part of chest too. It will definately pose better then CMs one. But CMs is def a looker. He is one good looking Jeeg.
I have CMS and Evolution Toys Jeeg, but still getting SRC because he looks so different. Im sure SRC will be tough as nail and very playable. I had Bandai chogokin Big O thrown across the room and hit the hardwood floor and bounced off it couple of times....and only thing broke was hinge on one the toe gate ramp....
I might get the New Evolution Toys S Metal Jeeg too. Because he is SRC sized with magnet joints and comes with diecast parts....supposedly.

another reason is the price. compare a 60-70usd SRC Jeeg to 240usd CMs Jeeg....it aint even close.
Well U can say CMs has included a Pantheroid horse and other option parts but.. what if i dont want to get the horse? and i just want the Jeeg figure only? Having an SRC out there gives us another option if u dont have an extra cash to burn.
