Reminds me of that HK tv show where the wife would break the husband action figure when they get into fights. So far, the only thing my wife did to my collection was accidentally sitting on a SH Figurarts box.

Is this one better than the cms one? i mean, metal quantity, i dont see any reason for buying it. The Cm's one was good. Right amount of heavy and has magnet joints, this SRC version seems to have dropped the magnets gimmick. But price wise, this is a far cry (much cheaper) from the CM's one. I think chances are good we'll see a future weapons pack with the horse (Panzeroid) for the SRC Jeeg. I'm not too bothered with SRC Jeeg being smaller, I've always felt he should be stocky but that's just me. Gold

Yeah...first thing that came to my mind when i saw the pictures as well, those thighs....

I think the thighs would look better if Jeeg stood more upright. See, it's not just that his thighs are thicker than usual. His waist is a bit smaller too, I think.
Legs from the knees down look very good, though. Believe me guys, place him in a more neutral pose and he'll look better.

i saw many illustration where he has thick thighs and small arms. So he is pretty source accurate.

in your opinion guys which one is better the ET version or the new SRC version If you have to pick one out of those 2.. it dipends. ET's Jeeg: - 11 cm, so slightly smaller than the SRC. - Better sculpt overall, the only things I don't like that much are the short thighs and the too-visible steel balls between waist and legs. But everything else looks perfect. - Magnets, so it sports the gimmick Jeeg is known for. - Price. So far, it looks like ET's Jeeg will be slightly cheaper than the SRC..? SRC Jeeg: - Taller, by almost an inch. - Sculpt and proportions are "modernized", it doesn't really go for the classic look despite remaining quite faithful to the original appearence. You might not like some of the design choices. - No magnets, this could mean the figure might be more stable (hopefully they'll fill it with ratchet joints) but that also means you can't play with is as much as you would with a magnetized one. Also, of course, no magnet gimmick. - And last but not least, I don't get why this Jeeg is so expensive but it is. So, yeah.. If you only want to buy one, I'd say: go for the SRC if you want quality, or go for the ET if you want a more faithful representation of the robot. Both look promising, anyway.

I am excited to get this. As I never had a proper Jeeg for my SR collection. I do have the Max Factory pre-painted kit, which you only needed to assemble and glue together. Of course I was hoping that they would be releasing one for the SOC line, seeing as they already have Kotetsushin Jeeg for that. They would be pretty sweet to pose together just like the final episode from the OVA.

I'm happy with my CM reissue jeeg but I'm really digging this src version as they got the headsculpt looking really good. I just hope that they included the panzeroid at that price cause if it doesn't then we are seeing the rise of the price of further src's releases. I collected this line because they were supposed to be a bit more affordable and that pricing is going in soc territory.

Sadly it's not usually the case, since there are lots of scalpers here. My brother's girlfriend bought him the sentinel Mazinkaiser and it's priced the same as the west. Even Giant Robot is insanely priced for an src. We are seeing the rise in prices of almost every figure that is coming out including the src line. I just hope Bandai realizes that upping the value of it's budget line is a bad idea.

Look for preorders from sellers at FB. they usually compete for the cheapest prices.. there wont be any problem with shipping costs either.. coz they usually do meet ups.

I'll need to check on my usual dealer as I don't know if he's gonna take some orders on this figure. If it's still too pricey I think I have to pass in the meantime since I'm saving up cash in case I'm right about becoming a parent again.
