Not to confuse things, but on eBay there is an AD 1901 series as well. They are 7 inch figures that released in 2007. Mazinger, Boss, Garada, Doublos, and Aflodai are in the line. Sorry to go off topic, but as a 1st time Fewture collector I find this interesting.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys! I think I'll put Dragon at the top of my list. I do remember seeing the review from Josh B now that you mention it, and I thought it looked incredible. Playing with the Dragun 5" Shogun Warrior is one earliest memories, and my only representation is the Dynamite Action! Metallic Dragon. So, I'm pretty sure that will be my next piece. You've come to the right place if you need ways to spend your money... <giggles> Yumcha- Thanks, I really need help with that!

Also, this might be a stupid question, but I was wondering, what is the significance of "1969" is in this robots name? actually its not a stupid question at all, till today im not %100 sure what the 1969 means lol and no its not the year that ArtStorm was founded if you check their site you will see the date of establishment is May 1982 and the first regular release of this Mazinger was released in 2007 my personal guessing, Go Nagai had the first brainstorming about Mazinger z in 1969 so they put it as a sign of that as always correct me if im wrong I said Fewture Toys and not Art Storm.

actually bro Fewture is a sub brand under ArtStorm, more like Lexus and Toyota the articular is wrong, the repaint version (manga color) in it was to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Go Nagai works (or something related to him) look here artstorm.co.jp/exgokin_mazinger1969_repaint.htmland there is nothing to be sorry about we are here to learn from each other why they named the AD 1901 & this one 1969 ? i guess we should leave it under "only god knows" lol

Awesome pics! Sorry to hear about your QC issues. I wish I had some advice for your glue mishap. I really hope you can fix it.

[/a]
Sorry to go off topic, Everyone. Mishari - Recently, I started a Google+ Community called "Super Robot World". I really like those SOC Gaiking photos you did a while back. With your permission, I would like to feature some of them. Your name does appear on them. But if you'd like, I'll mention you by name in the post, as well. Also, I'll let the members know about any social media accounts you use. What do you say?

Sure you can share the pics along with my credits and Instagram account @gtmcomics I just worry about the pics being used without being properly credited which is why I only post them on Instagram and here.

[/a]

Mishari, I've gotten involved in Google+ because all of the US politics have driven me from Facebook. It's not as widely used as other social media outlets, but it's an interesting demographic. Many young people aren't allowed to have Facebook accounts, but they all have Gmail. So, G+ is where they go. Instead of collecting gokins, these kids are really into manga and anime - they're fanatics. They love classic SRs, but don't have money for $300+ robots. So, they love my collection pics. A Mazinger 1969s I posted has 1,300 views. The Gaiking I recently contributed to the "Toys in Action" thread has 1,700. A Voltron pic I did has 2,400. My IG-88 (also in "Toys in Action") has 4,600 - now, when you Google "Super Robot" on the web, it's actually the 5th result. (Too bad it's not actually a SR.) I post them, because one day the younger generation will have expendable incomes, and hopefully bring longevity to our hobby. In fact, some have started putting up pics of SRCs. I started "Super Robot World" just 2 months ago. It's still pretty small, but new members join every single day. I'm also active in the "Mecha" and "Voltron" communities, which each have around 700 members. I appreciate your permission to post your beautiful Gaiking pics. In the header, I'll make it clear that they are from your collection. I'll also provide a link to your Instagram. Thanks!

Great pic, S_Gokin. I love the chrome with metallic paint. It stands out. I hope Fewure does more in this style. I'll buy them all.

That's my big thing. I really wish there were other local collectors into this stuff. It'd be nice to see it in hand to see if it changes my opinion
