Haven’t posted in awhile but just put mine together last night. I officially waited a year since I preordered this. Haha. Some of panels were pain in the ass to install but they stay on even when pretend he’s flying horizontally. Love articulated fingers I’m fool for those. I’m personally very happy with it looks great standing in my collection. Has little pop-out cockpit seat for the pilot. This is great homage to original which I have but this is nice streamline version. . This was one of the last items I was waiting for. I’m at capacity with my collection. Don’t see much to get in upcoming year but will keep an eye out so I’m semi-retiring. Now I’m collecting 80s skateboard decks. 😂

Mine's still in the private wearhouse but I might ship it soon. Relatively speaking, it sounds like the QC and fit/finish is above average compared to other ET product, which is a good sign. Congrats on your purchase! Please post pictures if you can. It looks like ET shipped another wave to the retailers and it's available in most stores again. HLJ still the cheapest though I think.

I wanted it, but did not preorder when it was announced, for a single reason: all the Evo Toy pieces I own, (even though they look o.k on display in the middle of loads of other toys), In your hands feel like painted model kits with magnets. Now, if the finish was spotless, you could swallow their prices a bit more. But all the ones I own have some painting defects here and there, like different tones of the same color, some parts aren't glued properly, some figures can't support their own weight etc..Qc is rubbish. Only time I get any Evo Toy stuff is on sale. Such a shame, at that price range, you'd expect more quality. Just like most of their pieces, the sculpt looks o.k, but such a let down that once again, it's not a true 'Toy'. But a display 'statue'. Aside from the die-cast parts, if the rest is as light as a kit and as delicate as their usual standard sized figures I'll skip. Looks like a poor alternative for people who don't own the DX Popy/Godaikin version. Considering their asking price, just save up and get the vintage DX. 😁.

I concur regarding everbody’s stated opinion above. That said, ET does provide us with a lot of unlikely offerings to fill our collections out - Mazinger enemies, Daibaron, Dai Apolon, to name a few. I presume they are are a small company doing limited product runs. Their work is way too expensive and, generally, composed of cheaper materials than any collector wants to handle BUT they do offer some amazing renditions of characters or toy models (panelized and deconstructable Chokinzoku) that Bandai proper has not yet offered. Buy ET products knowing that the materiel quality is sub par. However, if you want a decent, static representation of some rarely offered figures, by all means, buy them up. The sculpts are pretty good, in my experience.

the way i see it, is that ET is company with limited resources so they cant go and do the famous robots because the bar was set so high for them to compete, so they do the other robots that are rare in market or no one did before BUT with no preciosity just regular C class figures with limited articulation, some accessories and with short cuts here and there to keep the production cost as low as possible, but with the price tag of an B class figures or even an A class figures some would love to finally have those rare robots in their collection even if they are not that good and have QCs, but does it really worth it? to have something you always wanted but it kinda feel cheap ? for me no it will be a pass, i want those rare robot to be made decently, i think doing those rare robots using ET method is killing the chance of getting those robots in other lines if a new company want to put it self on the map they could do a rare robot in an epic way, example MT KOB and 5PRO Astroganger, both are amazing and they were listed for a reasonable prices so its win for both sides
so instead of giving us 10 C Class figures per year they could try to give us 1 A class figure per year even if it take alot of time, look to Fewture and the EX gokin line
sorry for the long post i just felt like i wanted to talk about this subject

I think people tend to be unfair with ET. I own many of their robots and they are nicely sculpted and painted. They are not great at price or at using diecast (which explains why many people here don't like their products). For example Their jeeg is awesome (much much better than the soc) they have the best combiner arbegas out there (other combiners have bad reviews but I don't own them, and doing a non combiner arbegas is much much more easier). I think that except for combiners they do a great job with individual robots like jeeg, getter robo, gakeen, groizer (it's in the hybrid line but I love it). Their easy and fun to pose once you learn how to balance the figure and their magnet system. When it come to price point, I think the key is thay are doing what nobody is doing, and that is because nobody believes it will be profitable. Being a small company they need to put higher prices since they are taking very big risks with some of their products (in fact many of those end at sale). I imagine that they are not doing many figures of one mold so that's also make costs higher. In the end is up to what you want in a figure, for me they've done great versions of nostalgic and cult characters. I'm very grateful because they've helped me complete my collection with some obscure characters, and what's also important to me there's a lot of play value in their figures. Sorry for the off topic. Congratulations to those who got this figure since it looks great.

Lol - maybe you can hang with my 9 year old while he thrashes on my old Caballero.... Just kidding.

For that price, feeling cheap is just not a great thing to be reading. ET has the will...but, not the way, I guess.

Just spotted a pre-order for the Evolution Toys, Super Metal Action Tetsujin 28, Skeleton Armor Ver. Miyazawa Models Limited Edition. Wow! I cannot believe ET released this version after those of us invested in the first release. This includes everything in the first release minus the booster carrier and then that extra translucent skeleton armor set, and is slightly cheaper in price. Kind of a slap in the face from ET. I don't know. SMH. At least change the color of the blue painted armor to a more lighter metallic blue like the upcoming Action Toys version which is more accurate. It is just dark glossy midnight blue. Then that would kinda of warrant the purchase. The shade of blue that ET picked for this figure just doesn't look great for Shin Tetsujin-28 Go.

I woke up this morning from a cell phone email notification that my Albegas order was shipped. I was celebrating, until I noticed that the email was from CDJapan. Then I said to myself, wait, I preordered with Amiami. Then I read the email in detail and it was the Albegas anime CD soundtrack I ordered. Doh!!! False alarm. LMAO

No, I pre-ordered the Evolution Toy Future Quest figure with Amiami. I ordered the Albegas soundtrack from CDJapan. I scanned through the email while half asleep and very quickly. I have been checking every morning my emails anxiously hoping to get the email notification that the ET Albegas toy is shipping soon. So I jumped the gun thinking the email was about the toy. The email doesn't disclose the price by the way.

It's now been a while since this Evo Toy T-28 got released, meanwhile I added the Action Toys masterpiece to my collection....but....I'm still intrigued by the Evo Toys Ver. I do that every time with Evo Toys : "Never again, it's sh*t" I say, yet, I keep coming back for more. *Sigh* so despite all the criticism from many, myself included, I decided to check it out anyway. Also, I'd like to try and weigh it down somehow (the Bandai DX Mazingers are actually pretty light if you remove the inner weight and heavy die-cast feet) Truly took me a while to take the plunge, but being a sucker for T-28, and considering how few T-28 releases we get (past 2 years excluded) might as well go for it before it goes up in price and disappears completely like a lot of Evo Toys pieces. Although, it feels this one was produced in larger quantity than their average releases,( or maybe it just didn't sell as well as expected due to the Heavy Metal Ver that was cheaper and coming out soon after) Anyways, paid ¥32k (not shipped...) for a New/Sealed one, which seemed reasonable.. Nearly went for the 2nd "Skelton" release for the extra armor parts. But pretty sure I won't be displaying it, looks 'meh', as the opaque finish hides the internal mechanics. So opted for the first release instead. Not only the box artwork ain't too bad, but I'm a sucker for useless stuff such as that booster carrier (which isn't included with the "Skelton" release) as it looks like the one from the classic DX Popy GB-24. Would've liked a version with everything, booster carrier, transparent armor and 1st Ver box....But no, they just had to milk this release in 2 releases...whatever.
Imo, all those recent T-28 releases have better sculpts than the overhyped Soc . Especially the Action Toys Ver, the new 'modern' T-28 king imo, it's a beauty. Come on Bandai, where's your DX T-28? Knowing them, they'll most likely just opt for a re-release of the old GX-44. Tsk tsk.
Rambling aside (who cares why I picked this instead of that right? ),but, I've also preordered the Action Toys T-28 Jumbo, reminded me of the old Inspire one from 10 years back.. Anyone else went for that 'jumbo'? Looks pretty decent considering its price. (Or maybe you saved for the $500+ Reideen Jumbo instead...?)

Lol, I'm in the camp of owning both the Action Toys version and the ET version as well. I got them when they were first released but haven't opened either yet. I look forward to your comparison feedback! The boxes are pretty impressive though. lol.

Received my version 1 today (not the Skelton one), but not opened it yet. The box feels supa light though (unlike the insane Action Toys one!) Main reason I went for it: the lack of T-28 figures and my fondness for the character. Since the Soc (which I still own but never truly liked the sculpt, more specifically the chest), anyway, since the early Evo Toys magnetic one and Soc version we haven't seen any other T-28 releases. I think the Action Toys Jumbo will most likely be the last one we'll get for a while so I decided to pick them all up in case we need to wait another 6/7 years for another one :-p
