i guess Bandai got alot of complains about the materials in their recent figures so they came up with this
official link
also there is Tamashii seal to prove the quality of the product and to stop fake or KO figures
what you think ?

Very informative, mate. I really enjoy watching the delicate production process until we receive it in the mail box.
I remember when I start collecting figure couple years ago. It was Saint Cloth Myth EX figure that got me hooked at that time. The quality of Gold Saint Leo, Aiolia, is superb. Just like those figure came alive from the anime show. Shortly after those SCM EX initial release, market demand of this product is jumping high. Cut order from Bandai were Common. An action figure cost three time higher than their American toys competitor, is highly sought and became rare. Seems crazy, right? but its happened, until now.

The problem with them is the QC issues. Loose and/or fragile joints, sloppy and/or easy to rub off paint, easily breakable parts, or problems with the engineering are almost a guarantee at this point

Thank you S. That is Very entertaining. It's very informative too.
I can take away two things from that video..Bandai can deflect all the blame to the Chinese office and 2nd, with all that checks and balances we STILL get a glaring QCs and defects.
To me, Its Audi and Mercedes Benz syndrome. "Interesting" that you dont see that problem with Porsche or Lexus.
Something is wrong at Bandai. someone there is consistantly dropping the ball. the material planner/ engineer, the chemist, the parts planner, QC tester, the project manager, the project accountant who knows.... "If" this video was to sway "my view" on Bandai's failings lately, it's as successful as their gx 81 guessing game....

Nice video. Watched something similar a while back, wonder if it was some special video from HLJ or somewhere else, showing the whole process of gundam model kit production, which is very similar. Wasn't aware of a lot of QC issues. Was it mainly on GX-76 Grendy? Didn't pick that up.

yes the GX-76 have some of QCs for hand full of members
paint
clicky joints fade away after couple of tries
and there is this weird sound in the legs (feet) when you do the "shake test"

And Bandai is telling you that it tested it and passed their QC.....
Bandai should get a real QC testers..... test it like you mean it. How are they testing clickies? Just click it once and oh look it passed....That's lazy to say the least. Click it hundred times damn it. If it still clicks, yeah, it passed " the damn clicky test."
Drop the package drop test? Are you kidding me? The hell for? What a waste of time... Do "the damn drop the FIGURE test!"

It’s very frustrating to have a expensive figure like Mazinkaiser sitting in a box because the plate was broken, thankfully ninjahands came thru and got some fixing for the damn thing, it drive me nuts to see that little piece of plastic holding a piece so important that your mazinkaiser will look like well..... Mazinkaiser.... and yet they make the damn video saying this stuff has passed QC. I bet you the damn plastic lions from playmates have pass an no issues at all in that cheap toy... oh well blame it on the Chinese... after all when you make .10 cents an hour that’s what you get....smh

to be honest Bandai wasn't always like this, they just became like this lately so maybe they changed people here and there ?
and i agree with you guys, Mazinkaiser was a disaster and the fact that they didn't do ANYTHING to fix it, is very disturbing
at least give us fixed parts specially this is an figure expensive
premium price = premium after sales service

Here's a thought... Just add the fixed parts in next SOC! How hard is that? It's the easiest thing to do.
But we all know Bandai will NEVER do that. Why? "Because its admitting its mistake...and that's shameful. You'll lose "face." Its dishonorable!!"
......Oh the irony

100% agree with S gokin, heck I still have the first gold saints from saint seiya that came in during the 90’s and they still are amazing pieces, But here is the kicker the box say “Made in Japan”. And that’s it.... now crawl to my hole lol

We are the QC testers and we do it for free. 😂 I haven’t preordered anything from Bandai in good year or longer with exception of DX Combattler. I just wait until buzz dies down and from there I’ll decide if I want to buy it. Nothing new should be rush to get unless people who are early adopters or gotta have it first. Like Sentinel Mospeada, lol thing has riddle with QC issues it was short shipped but some desperate buyers were paying $375 for it on ebay. Then Sentinel re-release it. That’s like price of Japanese vintage. Ridiculous. But anyways that video is great especially if it was in English. Wouldn’t we love to be in those character selection meetings. Like ok folks here’s the next character we plan to make.

not only Bandai
but alot of companies and individuals as well dont like admitting there are wrong or made a mistake, i mean come on we are humans we do mistakes all the time
you know couple of weeks ago i wrote a comment on a friend photo in Instagram about a game, a dude came out from no where and start talking trash, i showed him the truth, sale numbers by the company instead of saying "oh you are right"
what kind of ignorant person is that ?

I DO THAT S. I DO THAT~
hehe but yeah...sigh People don't like to be called out and proven wrong....no it's true.
I don't particularly people who out right disagree with me either. I mean who likes That? It's embarrassing.
But come on a public entity is a different story. They have a different set of standards and they have an obligation.
