It's a model kit but it *is* pre-painted. This info was available practically since the Xabungle SOC was first announced though. Think of the cosmo cleaner that came with the space battleship yamato SOP. If I've got the size of it right, I'd expect such a kit to cost ~2000 yen normally, like the prepainted quin mantha kit.

Man chen, I'm gonna be pretty busy. Taking 4 Japanese classes and a beginning Chinese class this semester- I've hardly had time to keep up with robot-japan. But I know how much everyone's looking forward to Voltes so I'll help with it where I can.

Well I can read a little Japanese(Katakana,Hiragana, and a little Kanji),but I can't fully translate them into English. However,Ataru is better suited in this job than I am. And besides,a picture's worth a thousand words anyway. (please, don't hurt me!

Wasn't it Clover that made the original Xabungle? I'm curious to see what the original looked like. How can you not like him? He comes with skis, and he pulls a camper! Now if I can just find some Adventure People action figures and I'm ready for vacation. ::)My name is Xabungle... Don't care bout pollution..I'm an airconditioned gypsy..that's my solution.Watch the police and the taxman miss me,I'm mobile!

Xabungle's die-cast content may be(hopefully will be) the torso(the outer ones, not the center) and the legs and feet.

The more I look at Xabungle, the more I like him. As strange as it is for my personal collecting tastes, I really like the quirkyness of his skis and the camper! But the aspect I'm most impressed with is how new school Xabungle looks in robot mode with minimal changes from his original design. Most of the SOCs are fairly easy to identify as old school design, but Xabungle could pass easily for a new release. I also like his guns and rocket launcher!

Am I correct to say that Xabungle is about the same size as the Zambo Ace?

I'm feeling kinda goofy today...it is abotu 5-5.5" inches...um same size as...GX-01 ;D Great save! I believe Zambot Ace is about the same size. I would say real close to the old Xabungle HCM.
