The paint is good, but the downside to that is the white parts. Overall this makes GX-28 a not-so finished looking SOC,but still nice.

I love figures like these, little buggers that come with a ton of accessories. Infact I'm looking forward to this more than I am of Voltes....ducks for cover

You said it! Plus it's 5 inches! In my opinion smaller stuff is more fun than taller stuff. Plus look forward to one that's going to be released first than the one later.

And a flaw prediction, scratched paint during transformation, some parts and accessories may fall off, and the elbows will be loose due to the load of weapons GX-28 can carry. It's just a prediction.

Another character I really have no idea who it is. Nevertheless, I find it looking much better than in the unpainted prototype pics. It also looks meaner with the great amount of weapons it will carry! I don't know if I will order one just yet, though. Plus, I can visualize an "R" (repaint) version of this coming "a la Dancouga" with a more convincing metallic color scheme.. But hen again, I never saw the original anime show, so I can't tell if the current colors are accurate or not..

I got a question on those Mascot figures for Hyper Hobby.. are they modded action figures? they looks so cool.. if I saw them in a store I'd pick them up.

GX-28 even has broken wing pieces! If you look on the top left of the Exclusive Minerva SOC,it's wings are almost completely gone, while to its right,it's fixed. That's a great detailing gimmick, and I guess BANDAI can actually add in and change stuff that wasn't even in their blueprints. And it looks like GX-28 might have a lot of die-cast in him(probably 50-60%).

I like it a lot. It takes me back to all the obscure 80's robot toys that I remember seeing and liking when I was a kid, but I had no idea what they were.

I am digging Xabungle. He looks like he will be pretty cool. As long as he has a ton of diecast.
I like the paint colors on him. Does have that 80's feel to it, which is pretty cool to me.

I'm totally with Mazinkaiser, the paint job does make Xabungle have that 80's look and that's the way it should be. Can't wait to get my hands on one ;D

The paint sceam actually does bring out a nostalgia design. Used to dislike it,but now I'm lovin it! Hopefully this should turn out to be a great SOC.

Thanks Bizz! I am really looking forward to this figure depending on the price this could be the best value for a SOC ever. It looks like it will just have a stand for the accessories but no base for the figures, although I could be wrong.
