max factory is owned by max watanabe (resident modeller and kit painter of hobby japan). he developed the "max style" of painting. this guy is a great modeller and painter, the reason why max factory is churning these well crafted gokins. That's a Gundam called Wing Zero Ver Ka, right? It's all starting to make sense to me now. And I now think I understand why I am loving the Max Factory line so much.

If this figure balances well enough to do a one foot kick pose, and can hold that sword in one hand like in the picture I will be very impressed. I want this thing, dammit. JWM Unfortunately there seems to be no love for Dragonar. I think there were a couple model kits and maybe a crappy figure but that's it. Too bad though since it was a pretty good series and the mech design was first class. www.mahq.net/mecha/dragonar/dragonarright.htm

I love everything about that figure except the feet but that's more a design issue than a toy one. But he looks like one off the most poseable figures out there.

Godannar: "How... is Padme? Is she... alright?" Lord Sidious: "It seems, in your anger... you killed her..." Godannar: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO................." But seriously, this is one of the nicest figs yet. It might be the first Max Factory toy I really want to buy. I like their GGGG, but I wish it really gattai'd, and I already have the Aoshima Mazinkaiser, so I passed on the MF one. Anyway, is Godannar piloted? Has anyone seen the show? If so, how is it?

Jiggly But seriously Go Dannar is made up of two robots (Neo Okusar and Godannar) combing so in effect there are two pilots for the mech. The show itself is pretty good with great action scenes but it also has an overabundance of very large and un-supported, breasted women ;D. which is a good thing in my eyes but could get a little too much after awhile. Here's a link. www.godannar.com/data/index.html

Beautiful.
I wasn't sold on GGGG either until a guy brought him in to our local shop. It was game on after that. I bought GGGG that weekend, which was months after his release. Now MAX's GGGG is probably my favorite figure I've got.

I am on the exact same boat. But this Max Godannar will definitely be my first Max Gokin. Those new pics were just amazing.

While I found the beautiful accessories on the MF Mazinkai very enticing, the toy itself and the price was what blew me off. Can't wait for this toy!

i'm nearly sold with this tough gokin, but i need to see it first in person before buying. i passed on the MF kaiser because i already have the MH kaiser, but i got the MF GGGG from ser GOLD at a killer price (his xtra). what can i say with the MF GGGG? awesome paintjob, high die cast content, excellent engineering (except for the oh so tight joints), damn too many accesories (which is excellent , and what else? oh, the killer packaging, and the soft cotton gloves that comes with the figure ;D. max watanabe is really particular in the care and maintenance of his models (the gloves are used to prevent the oils from our fingers from sticking to our gokins, which can affect their paint in the long run). expect this with the godanner. over all, MF and max watanabe rules .

If you haven't had the chance to handle a Maxgokin figure in person, you are in for a very cool heavy metal experience. Maxgokin quality is almost perfect.
