Thanks to Nikodiablo, Roboto and Greattoysonline, I was finally able to get this. The Hong Kong Gx-39 item Baikanfu case. Box Measures 16"11.5"x5" The foam handle is removable. Also included inside are two silica gel packets. I have to say, the insides are smelly. The closest smell I can think of is melted styrofoam. It was just pure murder on the olfactory sense. I had to air it out for two days before attempting to take pics of it. Guess it must be the foam reacting to the glue. Gx-39 fits snuggly inside. (the case can be closed with it inside) Gold

Absolutely terrible photo because it's nighttime, I have rubbish lighting, and I've been drinking, but I've decided that one of the most fun ways to pose Baikanfu and take advantage of his bot-in-a-bot nature is to pose him completely disheveled like a horrific mutant robot beast.

i like the pose quinjester but i notice one thing, the chrome's finish.. does anyone encounter same thing that happened to my baikanfu's chrome sword tarnished just like the GX-13 dancougar's sword.. i have to wiped em off on a weekly basis... just to avoid the haze build up.. also encountered the same thing on my GX-41 reideen's biceps and legs but what is weird is it only happened on the things i've mentioned.. think of it that the GX-04 and the GX-27 is displayed an inch away from the said gokins/sword.. same shelf/level.. and i handled my robots with gloves.. no halogen nor direct sunlight.. i have a silica gel/dehumidifiers inside my display cab... could it be the quality or the finish of the recent soc released?

Great pose, Quinjester. You gotta drink more often! It looks a little bit like he's toasting someone, btw.

Haha, thanks, but I really think I should drink less, personally ;P It's funny you mention the sword, that was really one of the big things I noticed myself. When I first got him, the sword was so shiny and perfect; now it seems a lot more dull and slightly tarnished. I keep all of my figs in the open air, no special enclosures or anything. It's a bit of a nuisance. Interestingly, my SOC Voltes V, about four inches from my Baikanfu, has flawless chrome on his sword, still. Wierd.

I'm afraid I don't understand your question. What do you mean by "wrapped his arm"? I mean is there are a joint on the arm so you can wrap the whole arm of baikanfu or make it Swing round ? I'm still not 100% on what it is you're asking, but I'll give it a shot - Both Baikanfu and Kenryu have only single-hinge elbows, so the limit is around 90 degrees of bend only. The hinges are a little odd in that they themselves are on yet another hinge so that you can sort of finagle it to get it to angle in different directions or rotate around the bicep. ... it's hard to describe, the elbows are a little strange just because of the way they're made to accommodate the nesting gimmick. The general overview though is that they can bend in or forward ~90 degrees, no more.

Well, There's a pretty good reason for the joints to be designed the way they are - Each "layer" of Baikanfu has to fit the previous robot's limbs inside its own - if the arms were to bend any further than they do it would either result in snapping limbs on the interior robots or forearms sticking through someone's elbows awkwardly.
Overall, the pose-ability is kind of limited, but it's still awfully good for how complicated the figure and its interlocking components are designed.

I think the joints of arms Could have been more better than that , all the fault because of the part of shoulder that connect with arm if they made this part be separately then The problem was resolved.

Baikanfu has pretty good arm articulation, it's just that it's a different kind. When you expect a swivel you get a hinge so you have to just play with it to get the right pose.

Yes, I agree... I think Bandai has done a good job on Baikanfu.

he is one badazz robot anyway, snake, why is your baikanfu have orange color while mine are yellow?? That's just the lighting in the photo. Look at the white or gray areas of his photo and compare them to similar colors in yours. His have a slightly red tint. That red is just enough to make his yellow look orange. Here is a color selection that I took from both of your photos to show how much difference there is when you compare two shaded areas of the figure that have a similar value but a different tint. When looking at these individual areas on the photos separately they just look like plain gray, but putting them against each other and.. well you can see for yourself. I should probably mention that I took the colors from the same spot on the figure ( the white hinge on the elbow ). The top one is from his Baikanfu and the bottom is from yours.

Those are some awesome poses, you guys. Baikanfu really looks the business, doesn't he?
I cross my fingers and utter a prayer to the toy gods daily that the Fewture ES Gokin version makes it to the market.
