AFAIK kayodo was the only one making gurren lagann toys but this seems different and more elaborate! But it is hard to say if it is transformable.

The design of this Gurren Lagann robot is very nice About the toys, I have seen some PVC Gurren Lagann toys from the manufacturer Konami, but i don't know for this one. This gainax anime is new, so i don't think this toy should be in the SOC line. EDIT : I have found this pic . So the robot is also from Konami 'Impact Model Series' , but no date is specified for this one ; contrary to the other Impact models (smaller and less elaborate), which are available for a november preorder.

oh just looking at the gurren lagann pics again. The ones I just posted looks like its a different figure then the one you posted pinnoy. I just realized the one you posted has a better jaw line and detailing...
so confusing.

yeah, the toys of your posted pics are different, but from the same Konami toy line. Contrary to the toy of pinoy78's pic, the other ones are available for preorder on Hlj.

Actually, the sign on the Gurren Lagann in question (the prototype) says it's a "Great Impact Series" figure, which may mean it's something different than just the regular "Impact Series" that is avalible now. Also the prototype has the wings on the back of GL that, as far as I've seen, don't come with the Impact Series figure. Hopefully it'll get the die cast treatment, cause if it does, I'm sold as soon as pre orders open.
SPOILERS (for the show):
Hopefully we'll see a really nice version of Enkidudu like this and Arc Gurren Lagann.....

The flight pack version is definitely the one to wait for. It's got a nicer sculpt compared to the smaller ones. The only problem is that it probably won't get as many features as a Bandai Chogokin. On a related note Lagann is on its way here.

man I love that thing... I wonder if the wing detaches... and if you can add the drills on the forearm??

I think the sculpt on the first IMapact Model is better. Look at the face. The second one is off somehow. The eyes are too big and the jaw is not right. The second one looks a little less "muscular" too.

hopefully SOC will get this treatment at some point. But I have a feeling Revoltech will manage to do one soon!

Which company is releasing these products? Bandai? Konami/Kotobukiya holds the Gurren Lagann license now. I'm HOPING that Bandai will eventually get a crack at GL sometime in the future.
