Limited production that sold out extra quickly, which means those sellers who still have them knocking around feel (probably rightly so, sadly) they can charge a mint for them.

I'm almost tempted to go for it, even though I cancelled my pre-order the first time. Knowing that it's limited, I'd hate to decide I want it later down the road.
Curse this gokin addiction...

I say go for it if esp if your a big fan of the show. He's a really nice and sturdy figure. Not a bad introduction for Konamis introduction to the gohkin world.

And it landed in the PI. Got mine at Ptoys yesterday (big thanks). Here's a pic comparing him with SOC Voltes V. * Just a lil note. It seems that this bot is quite light in weight compared to other diecast chogokin of the same size. Never the less, this is one heck of a bot.....

Wow .... he's ... short.
Such a tall price for such a small (and apparently light) bot...

I got mine today.
I must admit it blows away the God Marz I received only yesterday.
There, I said it, the best Gokin of the Year ( I still have not received my DX Reideen though)

Not exactly a reissue I guess, maybe calling it a second production run would be more accurate (kinda like how the Toynami MPC Voltron had a two-batch production run to complete the 15,000 units limit).

Gold Yep that makes it LIMITED ;D Limited to everybody who wants it and then some You're right, kinda like MPC Voltron. Does anybody know if Max Factory sub-contracted this? After finally opening mine, it does look & feel like Godannar.

Is it really supposed to be a limited figure? It had a small 1st production run, but I have not read about it being limited anywhere. How many units are supposed to be made?

Man, I pulled the trigger and ordered one an just got it today!! This toy is friggin cool as hell!!! I think it has a decent amount of diecast, it does feel heavier that Godannar. Definitely one of my top five gokins. I know I overpaid for it though, when they come back with round two, the price will be where it should be. Well we all overpay at one time or another Now I would really like to see the anime, does anyone know when its comming to the US on DVD?

That is music to my ears. I keep hearing people say this dude is light. But I was really happy with the weight of the Godannar because it allows the figure to have great balance. So if the GL is heavier than the Godannar, this is just great news. ...I think it has a decent amount of diecast, it does feel heavier that Godannar...

I put an order in at HLJ as an "in case", thinking I'd have a bit of time before they restocked them, but lo and behold I got a payment request today.
I guess that decides that. A whole $40 more than it would have been if I'd held my early bird, oh well.
Live and learn. Hopefully it's worth it.
