Hey Manny, Omni, or for anyone that knows, This one labeled "perfect piece" (coming from MegaHouse?) at HLJ; do you guys know if this is the GSC version? I'm wondering because in the pic posted by Manny, it says "Perfect Piece" also. If this is the GSC version, why is the price so much different at 9800 yen, is it because it doesn't come with the Motoko figure? -Thanks- and here's a 1/20 (14 cm height) scale diecast tachikoma (GSC), to be release in 2007...

What's the difference between the expensive one and cheaper one. Does the cheaper one have no poseability at all?

What is the size of the Motoko Kusanagi figure ? Is it a microman figure ? Edit : ooops ! I have the answer : while the 1/20 scale GSC Tachikoma (with the 3.5 inch Motoko Kusanagi "action figure"), due in May 2007, is made with diecast and ABS (17800 Yen).

Woo hoo!!! I am stoked! The Doublas especially. I have searched and searched to find larger pics of the Doublas and Boss Borot figures but it seems nobody had ever posted them. At one time I was even trying to make inquiries about whether prototypes had been made, but I never got any info. This is good news indeed. Nice find Bizzio!

news!!!!
WF07: The Future Holds More EX Gokin for Fewture
Mazinger 1969 and other mighty machines.
Planned for release from Fewture are the following robots with the same attention to detail and quality as their previously released Getter Robo series and soon to be released Tachikoma:
- No.5 Boss Borot (Mazinger series)
- No.6 Doublass (Mazinger series)
- No.7 Jyu-oh-maru (Pla-wres Sanshiro)
- No.8 Mazinger 1969 (Mazinger series)
- No.9 Great Mazinger 1969 (Mazinger series)
Prototypes of No.5 & 6 were on site as well as renderings of the rest, but photography of these items was prohibited. Release dates for No.5 & 6 couldn’t be given, though Fewture is hoping for a summer release of No.7 and an autumn release for No.8 & 9.
Please note that the two Mazinger figures are entirely new (yes, Mazinger in 1969!) and should not be confused with the discontinued series Mazinger 1901. Fans of "1901" will also note that Boss Borot and Doublass were to be included, but never saw release due to the cancellation of the line. Their upcoming release in the new EX Gokin series will utilize the unused "1901" prototype molds, though they will be cast of higher quality materials.
So in closing, still no bonus "Scramble Pack" for the "1901" Mazinger, though collectors will receive the final two unproduced characters PLUS two spanking new Mazingers (with wrist machine guns!) in this assortment.
