I've always wanted a die-cast toy of that its just @ 24cm, I don't think I want it to be that big. I was thinking some where in the line of half that size AND price. @ 24cm it is likely to be about $200US. I'll probably pass. It will just be too imposing on my shelves and wallet.

Yeah, I want one of these, too. Just hope it's not nearly as expensive as the one from Good Smile Company.

What the Hell is that thing? Looks like a potato bug had sex with a toilet. Seriously though, what series is that from?

Omni is in gokin heaven!! Yeppers! GITS is one of my guilty pleasures, regardless of how some of the philosophical topics really piss me off. Having several GITS/Shirow figures and merchandise, the Tachikoma will defintely look good with the rest! Fewture's version looks great, especially at 1/24 scale (approx 9 inches). GSC's version is tops because it also has an in-scale Motoko poseable figure that can ride it... I'm just not too happy about the price tag. In any case, it's about time Shirow's mecha designs get some gokin attention! I hope they do Landmates next!

Manny, the one in the picture you posted is the Goodsmile Company (GSC) version. Biz posted the version from Fewture. The GSC is about PhP9000 or US$150.00, and the one from fewture is a little cheaper, although doesn't comapre much with the accessories that GSC has come up with, and that poseable Motoko is just soooo cool! In any case, both are welcome! NOW..... where are my LANDMATES?!
