Unbe-freakin-lievable. They couldn't have picked a better set. I would have been happy with either of these guys, but both of them is the total bomb. I am so completely on board with this.

I am hoping that it's one of the other super robots like SRX, Grungust, Dygenguar or Aussenseiter. However, like Kuro Kishi mentioned, it will probably be Mazinkaiser to compliment the Mazingers. I'm pretty sure it will be one of the supers and not the real robots, tho. Hey hey, looks like my wish just came true ;D ;D!! thx aerics28 of forum.kafegaul.com Hopefully the Aussenseiter can be transformed into "Pferd" mode!! Tatsumaki Zankatoooouu!!

On the design note, looks like Aussenseiter's front skirt is too wide!

On the design note, looks like Aussenseiter's front skirt is too wide! It is wide in the official lineart in the SRW OG books.

Man...and I already bought the action figures for really high price too...Oh well.
But I have to say, Bandai did pick a good choice in picking two of the most badass SRW robots, that can also 'combine' into something made of pure coolness. Not to mention the two pilots have the 2 of the highest stats in SRW games. I really don't see how people don't like GX-45 (even if you don't plan to buy). This is why Bandai chose those two (modern super robots at its finest):
Think I might have to give in and get this, even though I already have the Dengeki Hobby exclusive figures. A transforming Aussenzeitar is just too tempting. Hope this set won't reach another SOC all time high on the price tag...

A transforming Aussenzeitar is just too tempting. Hope this set won't reach another SOC all time high on the price tag... I have to agree with you on all this chi. I'm still somewhat in shock that Bandai chose so wisely. And not just one, but two of the biggest butt kickers in whole SRW line up, and that goes for their design as well. When we were all talking about who we thought GX-45 would be, Dygenguar and Aussenseiter seemed like way too over the top as possible choices to me. I honestly thought Dygenguar was a complete impossibility because of his very contemporary design. Frankly I was expecting something conservative, almost like a token gesture of sorts being slightly underwhelming. Man, was I ever wrong on that! I got a fairly good deal on my Dengeki figures, but still that was more than a hundred dollars each. It's sucks, but the pain of our popularity support will likely pay off. Let's face it chi, regardless of having Dengeki exclusives, GX-45 is an absolute non-negotiable must for us. It's way beyond our control. It's like gravity, or a tractor beam, or something..

Hey, BTW.. Is this how you guys wanted to merge? What I mean is that I don't have any way to combine the threads, and if you guys prefer to move the discussion to the other thread where the Dygenguar name is listed in the thread I can unlock it and we can instead move over there? Any strong feelings on this?

My wallet just performed seppuku !!! Ok going by stats these guys are around 55m tall so going by SOC scales and the fact that one transformes into a horse and they kinda combine I figure their be a little smaller then your average Go Nagai SOC so around 7-8 inches tall, now the fact that it's a two pack I figure prices should be in the $120-140.00 price range for it. So basically no cheap SOC's for awhile...

I think we can keep it as it is xiom, let's go on with the discussion in this thread... I mean, I don't mind as I started the other one ... and for the record, I'm thrilled that gx-45 will be dygenguar. I never started to collect vintage or older designs and haven't bought any new SOC since gunbuster. so dygenguar is definitively on my list. can't wait to see some pictures of it.

I have a feeling that it will be the same size as the model kits so either 1/144 or 1/100 scale but I don't own any of these so I have no idea what these scales translate into how tall the figures are in inches.

I must confess i am amazed they start doing SRW with Dygenguar and Aussenseiter. I was thinking it would be one of the first generations. If they get the gattai right with near Max Factory quality and with decent size it will be the best toy ever!!! But i am almost sure they will spoil it all by doing it small like xabungle!

I remember seeing that, but I thought it was labeled as being a photo from a Kotobukiya booth? EDIT: Yeah, I thought so. Hate to rain on the proverbial parade here... ga.sbcr.jp/mreport/009895/(the translated text makes reference to it being a Koto project)

It's so freaking obvious that it's the Sanshiki Zankantou which belongs to both Sanger's Grungust Sanshiki and Dygenguar.
