I just bought a resin kit. I thought I'd take a crack at a few new parts when they break.
Soon I'll probably do the ones for the tracked vehicle legs.

That isn't surprising to me. It supports the idea the Godmarz is an expensive toy to make and Bandai just used the same Japanese product run.
The new old stock would have been used/used up with Godaikin first/silver box releases (they came on market in 82 and Godmarz was 1981). Then the Godmarz was removed from the Godaikin line once old stock was used up.
