I enjoy their GL so much, I will likely get this. I don't consider this a villain mecha once you realize he was originally keeping humans underground for the greater good.

I got all the first wave IDW Generations except Bumble Bee. He is just so washed out, and needs more paint. I might pick up the Gold bug version. Megatron looks good less his gun. I rather be able to clip it to his back or as wings. I might modify that, but other than that he looks good. Orion is decent, he reminds me of War Machine Optimus. I think it would be cool to see him retooled into a Machine wars Optimus update. Trail cutter is great, but has some serious balancing issues. I think Scoop and Metroplex are the last big things on my list for the rest of the year.

Acid storm looks good, but the plastic feels cheaper than the previous MP Seeker mold.

Go doesn't appeal to me at all, but I think Prime was a good series. I put it up there with Beast Wars. I didn't like everything about it, but it had some great moments.

I have heard of it snapping from a local as well. Everything was very tight on mine. I applied gentle force to the base of the joint rather the top of the fins etc.. to avoid putting too much strain on them.

How much exactly? If this came out when I go to asia at the end of the year, I would get it. It looks awesome. I don't care if it doesn't transform.

Now that I have spent more time with SW, I will knock down the score I gave him some. The QC on mine is pretty good, but once I turned him to radio mode, some of the silver paint had scratches and runs. I can repaint that section myself, so its not too big a deal. Also, the Radio mode is sort of iffy. Its cool, and it looks like a radio as long as you look at it from the front. I think I might want an original SW to display in radio mode. Now we just need a KO over sized version of MP SW with functional tape deck.

The way people are here, I would not doubt she is at least dating a scalper. Regardless, it does not change the moral complications of her lying to get something that is meant for someone else.

Another local had a worse story. He had it on hold at a TRU here. Some woman went over to the cage and read the names on the boxes and said she was there to get one on hold. She gave one of the names on the boxes. The guy was there and had to tell the manager that it was on hold for him and showed his ID since his name was on it. The woman claimed she forgot her ID (for a boys name) and left.

I was lucky to get SW and Acid Storm. I have a lot of MPs and TFs and am a huge fan of OP. With all that said, I think MP SW is the best TF I own, third part or not.
EDIT: BTW It is not easy to get him at all. Seems people are storming all the TRU in my area, and there are several the moment the open. So essentially they are gone the moment the doors are open. Some stores hold, and most say its against policy. Seems most stores get a max of two at a time, and it seems to pop up on ship day. The only advice I have is to get to TRU before they open and be first inline to run in and get one. It might not be so bad, but the scalpers are out in full force on this one. Its supposed to be one per customer but it seems some are trying to buy them all to resell. If you can't get to a TRU, then there is a chance that their site will still get them. I can only suggest refreshing the SW search results on their page after midnight and again mid day in hopes of catching the listing once it goes up.
As a last ditch effort tfsource has the takara version for $159 and free shipping. After having all the cassettes in hand, I will say they are all good, but Lazerbeak is by far the best. Ravage, being hard to get now, is by far the weakest. He isn't bad, but I could live without him if I had to. Rumble and Frenzy are pretty cool, but there is little need to have both. So I say if you can't score a hasbro version in a couple weeks I would go the TFsouce route. That being said, I like the toy a lot, and am glad to have the whole package. My only gripe is tapes get stuck in SW's chest when trying to eject. Other than that, I give it a 98 out of 100.

I was playing some SNES last night. Turtles 4 in time, DK Country and Maui Mallard. I beat Last of Us and will go on to Dead Space 3 this next week. I think Last of Us had a good ending. Not a happy ending, but a good ending. I think it pushes the boundaries of gaming to the art side as it gives the user an experience and forces them to make some hard decisions, to put them in the shoes of the main character and their final decision.

I am kicking around the Takara one myself. He is $160 + free shipping at TFsource. I will preorder that version if I don't find a hasbro one in the next couple weeks.

I think it looks pretty great. The IDW SD version looks good too.

Looks like they have been hitting stores here in the midwest and vanishing as quick as they came. I am still on the hunt. I know there are a lot of scalpers here so I am not sure my chances of actually getting one.

I wonder if those end up online? I don't mind a scuffed up box.

I really don't understand why they don't do preorders and just meet all the demand. The only drawback I can see with that is that they actually do not get as much demand as anticipated, but this will likely be the last time we see a tape cassette robot, so the demand should be pretty high.

Soundwave went up, but once he went up I could not even order. It would delete it from my cart saying they had none left in stock... Looks like I might miss this one unless something changes.
