Just received my Danguard and I have got to say this is one of the best feeling SOCs to date when it comes to heft and quality. Very impressed!

I did see a handful of Jumbos. No boxes or accessories though. I did see a couple of the Voltron's like I mentioned earlier but I never saw one for $100. $250 was the cheapest I ran across and it was definitely not worth it. I definitely was not expecting to see or buy any SOCs these are always cheaper when purchased from overseas in my opinion. Was not looking for them. I personally was on the hunt for vintage chogokin (70s to early 90s) in decent condition. Did not matter if they had boxes or not. But the little I found as mentioned earlier was INSANELY priced. There were some deals on Transformers though. I almost bought a G1 Wheeljack in the box for $35! He was missing everything but the box was really clean and the figure was in so so shape. Should have bought it.

I attended this on Saturday and it was a waste of time. Lots of very expensive junk and way overpriced items. There were some deals on Transformers but all of the other Die Cast or newer chogokins were so overpriced. Someone was selling a Megahouse Alteisen for $300! Busted up, horrible condition Voltrons and Dairuggers for $250 to $450! Prices were insane. I did pick up a Chogokin Doremon Gacha Gacha but that was it. In all I think it was not worth it considering I paid the early bird entry fee. If you were looking for sports figures or hotwheels it was the place to be.

Yep everything is on correctly. It is an issue many people have had. The add on leg pieces are very finicky to get on correctly and even when on they pop off very easy. Same with the shoulder parts. Also lining up the upper body when inserting the lower is not that easy. The Shoulder bars need to be in exactly the right position otherwise it will not click into place. Again even when it does click into place it is not a very tight connection and I do not trust it. Engineering again was impressive but this is far from one of the better SOCs in my opinion. Godmars, Gunbuster, Ideon, and Godsigma all in my opinion blow this guy out of the water in metal content and quality. I think he was worth the $180 I paid but not worth it if you add the $70.

I just purchased him from AmiAmi last week as well. He was on sale I think 12300 yen. I jumped on it at that point as I had passed on it originally because of price. But EMS shipping was $70US! He is a cool piece of engineering but there are some serious flaws in my opinion. He is not very steady on his feet and is very flimsy. Not much metal in him at all. All the add on parts come off if you look at them funny. If it had not been for the outrageous shipping I would say he is worth what I paid. But the shipping.......WOW.

Looks amazing and I seriously have not been this excited for an SOC in a very long time! Cannot believe some folks in here are griping already. Some people will never be happy.

I think it looks great! Also second that the size is nice and will not make the Yamato version obsolete. I think this may be the first SOC that I buy two of!

Could not agree more this guy and his significant other are beyond irritating. The show might have embellished a bit but they obviously were not far from the truth. These two cannot put one sentence together collectively! just watched Sean's youtube explanation of the show. Once again 'Reality TV" goes over board... I started to watch that youtube explanation and I could not take more than a minute of that ass clown's inability to form a complete coherent sentence or not use "like" every other word. How does he supposedly make a living reviewing toys on YouTube? I don't understand how that is monetized. I certainly don't understand how anyone could stand to watch his reviews.

100% Agree I have yet been able to procure any of these new Valks. Bandai needs to listen up and make more! Wow, what do they order in like 10? that is so bullsh*t how it sells out so fast.

I don't understand Bandai. It seems as though a lot of people are interested in these but they sell out immediately. I have yet been able to be fast enough to pre order and of the new Valks. I will see they are releasing something new head over to Ami Ami or HLJ and they are sold out the day they are announced. If you are listening Bandai make more people will buy them.

I could have easily broken mine as well but realized that there was minimal movement because of the design so I did not force his head much. I wanted to though because the position at which it is fixed is very odd. Looking at the ground.

Just received my Baikanfu. Have not played with him too much but noticed the following so far: Quite a good amount of diecast. Paint and colors are bright and I have not noticed too many flaws. This is my first purchase in the ES series and I am very happy. The box and packaging are great. Super heavy duty cardboard box with three very large plastic containers. The heads of Baikanfu and Kenryu do not seem to move back at all. So they are stuck almost looking towards the ground. The chest panels on Kenryu do not want to stay aligned. Because of the size of these guys it was extremely difficult for me to attempt to pair them all together. When I attempted doing this one of Baikanfu's arms came unglued from the elbow down. So I had to super glue it back into place. The fit is really tight and I was afraid I was going to scratch the paint or break more of the figures so I decided to not pair them up. I like him overall but was a little bummed about the fit of the figures together and the arm coming unglued. Big Brother by Dooquie, on Flickr Baikanfu & Kenryu ES Gokin by Dooquie, on Flickr
