Just received mine and I am really unhappy with the horrible paint in this SOC. I have never really noticed bad paint on any of my other SOC's. This one slaps you in the face. My only other complaint is I can't seem to get mine to want to nest all that great. Some of the little doors that cover each figure just keep popping open. Aside from those complaints though he is a great looking Robot. The pose-ability is great and I love that the ankles are ratcheting. Metal content is not very high but Baikenfu has a good heft to it. To me not a TOTY but a must buy for any SOC fan.

You're welcome, bro! Same as with you, I can't wait to see more prototype pics! This is a very welcome filler for me, before Daimos is released! Daimos? Has he been confirmed? I hope so he would be a sweet addition.

Just curious what industry you work in? I am in the bicycle industry and my company has a factory in Shenzhen. Unfortunatley I do not know of any robot stores in the area. If you were going to be in Taiwan it would be a different story, I know a ton of places there. Sorry I could not be of more help.

I'm forever hoping they do a SOC Tetsujin based on the SG-01 design. Given the original's commanding price tag these days, you'd think Bandai would recognise the market for one. Oh, and also always dreaming of a true SOC GoLion! ;D A large size T-28 would be sweet. I heard Daltanious, then Reideen, and then Daitarn. All rumor but that was the latest I have seen.

I received my Iron Gear Saturday from Beta Toys. Very cool that he comes as a robot in the box. I am a bit dissapointed with what seems to be a lack of metal in him though. That aside he is very well made, transformation is easy, and I am not afraid to play with him.

I am really hoping that the scale is somewhere near Ideon's size and a lot of metal content would be nice!

Finally got my Ideon on Saturday after going through some BS with a seller named Choco-mk from Ebay. I never got it from that seller, ended up getting a refund from Paypal. Bought another from Ebay for $186. He is just as awesome as everyone is saying. The amount of metal in his legs is astonishing! It is such a heavy toy. Highly recommend to anyone that is on the fence about this one.

Just wanted to let everyone know about another bad seller on Ebay. Back in April I won an Ideon from choco_mk a seller on Ebay. I won it for $127.50 and $55 shipping. I had a feeling it might be too good to be true. The seller took my money and told me 14 days for delivery, the time has come and past and now they will not return my e-mails and all of their contact info on Ebay is fraudulent. The account name is under "Kitty Hello" which is obviously fake. Anyway I am in the process of getting my money back through Paypal and just wanted to give everyone a heads up to stay away from choco_mk.
Also anyone have any suggestions on where I can now get an Ideon at a good deal?

Great impressions and reviews from all who have received their Ideon. I just won one on Ebay Saturday for $127 shipping from China though. But from all these pictures I cannot wait till it gets here! wow. $127 is super cheap.. but how much for shipping? $60, $70 or $80? $55, I do not think anyone was paying attention to that auction. The same seller has a couple other Ideons but with Buy it Now for $185 I think it was.
