Looks familiar to me...
Doesn't it look like one of those robots from Sakura Wars? or is it just me? It's interesting.

Robofestivus. Clearly you're not mature enough to have an adult discussion with.

I realize the defect with the broken chest plate... Dude, I love your pics. Thanks Cole. I wish I can be as creative as you when it comes to editing but I really just go for the "product shot" look. I think I should try a little action and creative shots in the future.

I liked your pictures too. It was just bad timing that led to the lack of comments.you did a awesome job. I wish I was that good at posing the figures like that! LOL Thanks I appreciate that. All it takes is a decent camera, a backdrop and some lighting to get going. When I first started doing this I used a small IKEA lamp and a 2MP digital camera. I am so glad that technology has progressed so far so that when we get a beautiful figure like Mazinkaiser people can get creative with it. I am still waiting on reviews for it on YouTube. I know I already have the figure but I still enjoy seeing what other collectors say about it. After all..this is my one and only Mazinkaiser figure.

Gtm. I had to go through 9 pages of angry posts to find your post. Ya stuff like that tend to get buried during height of complaints. I do see you got some likes (including mine from when you posted it). thanks for posting and for the nice pics! Keep doing it knowing it is appreciated. Thanks I appreciate it. Some people seem to think I am looking for "likes". This is a forum and the basis of a forum is to share your opinion and discuss the subject of the thread. Seems to me like this forum recently is mostly about b*tching about stuff or nitpicking minor flaws (referring to other threads not this one). So when anyone is posting a photo of their figure or collection it gets ignored because people are too busy arguing if Mazinger's face is not anime accurate enough or Daitarn-3 is too tall. You get the point.

That post with all the pics got 7 likes - how was it "completely and utterly ignored"? As stated in a previous reply. It's not about likes. This is a forum. If all we did was likes then nobody would learn anything.

GTMQ8, you got a Like from me too as soon as you posted your photos. Why do you say you were completely and utterly ignored? I'm not looking for likes. This is a forum and sharing opinions and discussion is what it's about. Not likes.

Probably been covered already but is this SRC prone to becoming a floppy mess like the older releases? Not too keen on spending 100+ on an SRC It's always a possibility but since this figure is fairly recent you won't really know for a while. Mine has been standing with the Zero Scrander on the back for a few months now and it's fine. I expect loose joints will only happen after a really long time of being played with or posing it. It's a really nice release.

I realize the defect with the broken chest plate has affected a few of you here. I know the feeling all too well even if it didn't happen with this figure, it's happened to me quite a few times (CM's Grendizer anyone?) But ...this is still a thread about SOC GX-75 Mazinkaiser right? This forum and Instagram are basically my only outlet for talking/sharing about these collectibles...and I'm sure the same can be said for the majority of you guys here. That is why it baffles me why a decent post about an undamaged Mazinkaiser with detailed photos would be completely and utterly ignored. This is not the first time this happened here but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Are my photos bad? are they good? do you hate them? do you like them? honestly anything is better than being ignored. I do photography as well, and honestly man you've just gotta' post and move on. The beauty of digital photography is that it doesn't go anywhere so even if it's not really paid attention to today the same picture post could help someone out 5 months down the road who scrolls past it. If you're looking for general feedback on your photography, stuff like the omni-existence photography thread may be a better suited place for that as simple "likes" aren't really substantial feedback. Yeah I'm a long time photographer and shooting toys is just one of the many subjects I do. It goes without saying that I am not simply looking for likes as much as average feedback about the photos and/or sharing my experience with the figure. I also try to write about a figure as much as I can...like a mini review. Pros and Cons stuff like that. I've known and seen your work long enough to know that you know your stuff. I will just need to have an open mind and accept the reality of this forum. Hopefully I'll have some photos for the Omni-existence thread as well. Thanks Kuma.

Well I guess I need to sell mine to make space for this one. It's good that it's near mint and complete. Should be fairly easy to sell him.

Good news everyone! I just received my Shin Getter repaint ver. and it is EPIC! The color makes it a lot more attractive looking as a figure than the black version. I own both now. Brother, I am happy that you are satisfied with EX Gokin Shin Getter 1 the Repaint ver. I have been keeping my eye on the EX Gokin Shin Getter since a longtime, but, I am still unable to decide whether to get the first release or the repaint ver. which comes with more accessories 'n it's even cheaper than the first rel. (I am not interested in the black ver. at all, by the way). The thing is, I like how I see the anime colors more in the first release (its red tone & violet wings) and TBH I wouldn't use the extra accessories that come with the repaint ver. cuz we all know they originally belong only to Black Getter! However, I have a question for you... does the repaint ver. in hand give a bit of the anime Shin Getter representation in terms of colors or are its red tone and black wings totally far away from that? It's almost the same color as the anime version. Looks very nice. I sold the black version because I didn't need to keep both in my collection. I posted pics of it in the previous page on this thread so you can decide if you like it enough to get it. There should also be a few reviews on YouTube about it. Personally I think it's great if someone doesn't have the original. They also seem to have fixed the wing problem.

Big O is one of my favorites. I loved the anime and I already own the old SOC release. I think I will sell it and get this one.

Don't remember if I mentioned it before. But this will be my one and only Mazinkaiser. I have barely accepted the fact that I pre-ordered one. Too many years hating this robot will do that. Ha! Sounds like me. Never liked the design before, but Bandai did such a good job on this one. I had it pre-ordered for a while. I've since come to my senses, but only barely. Pics like those above make me a little weak for a few moments. It was never about the design for me. When I was first introduced to the robot in Super Robot Wars, I loved it. But once they tried marketing him in that awful OVA that was not worth waiting 4 years to see it in its entirety, I ended up hating it. Plus I never liked the releases they made before with the exception of perhaps the Max Factory one. This is why it will be the only one. I trust Bandai when it comes to SOC especially with new releases.

It looks so good. I am just imagining the possibilities with the poses and photographs. Just preordered mine.

I don't like messing with a collectable unless I have to. But thanks for the suggestions. Could be useful for older figures I have. Well considering you just spent the last 10 days looking for a piece of said collectable, perhaps it's something you should strongly consider. I didn't actually spend all those 10 days looking for it. I gave it up looking after 2 days and then I found it on the 10th day. I wasn't even looking for it, it was just there.

Guys something annoying happened the other day. You have to be extra careful with that Scrander cockpit/antenna part. I have a red carpet and the part fell off. I couldn't find it for 10 days. The maid vacuumed the room twice and I found it the second time! ... It's a miracle it didn't get sucked in. I wish Bandai made these parts to snap firmly in place instead of being so easy to detach. All you have to do is touch it and then it's off. I am glad I found it. Just use some floor polish to thicken up the pieces. I don't like messing with a collectible unless I have to. But thanks for the suggestions. Could be useful for older figures I have.

Beautiful photos GOLD. Inspirational stuff. I am glad Bandai gave us 3 beautiful versions of SRC Grendizer. Jumbo Machinder version wouldn't hurt either.
