The yellow horns look very cool. Although to be fair I do prefer the chrome horns as my SOC Grendizer already has yellow horns.

Well...on the more positive side, as many of you also have mentioned...this is one of the best looking Grendizers out there. Enjoy the photos.

Gettershadow makes a good point. That would actually be a good reason why the quality is so bad.

I am glad that my more defective copy is being sold within the hour. The buyer is fully aware of the flaws and I have sent him the video and photos of my fix and I even told him he could examine it himself before buying it so he has no complaints. I'm selling it for $200 (regular version) just a bit under what I paid for it, but I also got %25 store credit from HLJ so that breaks it (pun intended) even more or less.
I haven't had the chance to properly shoot it but once I do I will post the pics here. There has to be something positive out of this whole mess.

Further update: I re-attached the faulty shoulder and screwed it back into place. Somehow it has more solid movement now and can be posed! It doesn't lock the same way a normal arm does, but it's an improvement over the arm being loose. Looking for a buyer for it now. At least I am getting back %75 of what I paid for it.

Update on the loose left arm problem. For those who haven't seen the video I did what any sensible person would do in this case. I took it apart! I discovered the problem was a part that is designed to keep the horizontal arm movement to lock into place which is there on the right shoulder but not on the left one. After examining it I realized I saw a tiny broken plastic part when I first opened the box and removed Grendizer from the plastic. It didn't fit anywhere visible so I didn't think much of it at the time. That being said I doubt even if I still had it and glued it back that it would hold into place. Another example of how badly CM's made this figure. The screws are very difficult to unscrew unless you use a torque screw driver. I am considering painting the whole thing in chrome paint and just displaying it as is without a pose. Sigh

Yup. My second Grendizer is so far better than the one in the video. I am stuck with the defect until I can ship it back. However the second one had the connecting peg for the double harken broken when I wanted to pose it and take some photos of it. Also I am not sure if this is an issue but I feel like the leg movement is missing a point. Because he can stand either with legs fully closed together or spread. I saw some photos of people posing him with his legs in a very slight outward angle, which I can't seem to achieve with mine. Maybe I should keep the other one and use it as spare parts...

I got mine from HLJ. I sent them the video and they told me I could ship it back to them and they would send me a replacement + they would cover the shipping charges. I've been a customer there for the past 11 years and this is the first time I experience such a badly made collectible that I wanted to return it.

I am quite disappointed with it. Here's a video of the defect I got in one of the two BG Grendizers I ordered. Left arm is completely useless.
In addition to that the right horn was broken, but can be glued back into place. It also has a flaw with the Double Harken where the connector peg for the rods can easily break from the first time. It's my first Brave Gokin and I won't be dealing with CM's Corporation again.

Has anyone tried the discount yet? it has been over a month so I was just wondering if it makes a big difference in SOC purchases since they're higher priced than Revoltechs.
