Saw this in person, while it’s nice I prefer the blue of the original. I do like the chrome thighs. Lol.

If I remember correctly these are like 8”. Def bigger than sentinel and SOC getters.

Which one do you like better? GX-105 scrander does not attach to the launch rail on the GX-70 stand. just sitting there. Stable enough though.

Fully extended, makes GX-70 look like a short skinny little bro.

Got mine finally. I was cheap and paid the surface SAL (but for less than 900 yen), and did have to wait 2+ months for it to arrive. No tracking meant I wasn't sure if it's ever going to arrive and the savings is not worth the angst.
I tend to agree, that this one feels more balanced than GX-70, which seemed too skinny. This one is more poseable too! I haven't used any SOC stands in over a decade so having a smaller box with less junk (to me) is brilliant.
I do wish for slightly more ankle movement but it's a fun toy. One of my pilder's wings did not fold up properly when I first tried, but after some wiggling and placing into Mazinger's head the issue went away. May have been excess spruce mark causing too much friction.

In Japanese's minds, Voltron 1, 2, and 3 are completely unrelated. THey're Dairugger, Albegas, and Golion; three unrelated shows.

Thanks for the vid. Any idea how big this thing is? It has so much details on it. I'm guessing bigger than Arcadia's.

Thanks guys for the links. I’ve always wanted to go to SD con. Such a fun focused yet diverse convention.

I found this 2021 pic of Mari IIjima posing next to it on SDCon FB page
For those that don't know she is Minmay's Japanese voice actress.
Great pic. I wish she had taken off her mask. Lol.

This one is so epic despite the thousands of Mazinger releases by every seemingly every toy maker.
Any RJ bros out there getting it? Shipping the 100 kits alone is an astronomical figure!

Only major difference I can see is the wheels along the forearm is now flush against it, which is nice. The other small difference I see are thicker thighs, diff fist sculpt... and that's about it. What else? From last page's mag scans: Tabs on the inner side of feet are now gone. Shoulder armors are different (not sure it's an assembly difference or mold difference or both). Wheels on waist and arms are bigger in diameter. No more parts forming at the fists and at the waist for transformation - this one can't be seen I don't think.
