So everyone here can rest easy. MP is not giving out new info because they want to be 100% sure before they do so. All in order to avoid getting everyone's hopes up and then letting us down again. Thank you reluttr for the RK feedback.. it's a much welcomed note

I think it went something like this: for international buyer, shipping would be via EMS and split half-half between Toyfreakz and buyer.. correct me if i'm wrong..

having completed TFC Herc and the first two members of Maketoy's Giant, i'd say go for Giant if you want to complement your other TF collection, and go for Herc if you want a one of a kind huge Devy personally, i like the quality on Maketoys.. as for Toynami Voltron, i felt that it is exactly what lion voltron should be; with good articulation and sleeker look. Most of my vintage collector friends felt that the MP is too thin, but i have a feeling it was because they are too used to vintage voltron bulkiness.... both CollectionDX and OAFE reviews on the Toynami MP Voltron are spot on, i must say.... to quote OAFE on MP Voltron: "The robot's proportions look all wrong. He's too skinny, and too angular. Well, at least compared to the old toys. But then you take a look at the cartoons, and you realize that he's exactly right: it's everything else that's been wrong for years. Voltron isn't supposed to be square and blocky - he's mostly human-shaped, and the figure finally reflects that. The level of detail on the sculpt absolutely blows every other piece of Voltron merchandise away. " me think it is fairer to compare MP Voltron to it's anime appearance, and not to any other vintage toys of it..

Read my post again. I am not blaming and never have blamed Dave/Toyfreakz for the delays. Miracle Production is the one f#cking up on the release dates. }[ my reply to your quote is for the manufacturer's delay.. my reply concerning Dave/toyfreakz was not directed to you, but to those who attacked Dave/toyfreakz for the delay.. sorry for the confusion

That still does not justify delaying a product over and over and over for no real valid reason (natural dissasters, worker strikes). Everything else can be and should be planned ahead, from licenses and documentations, to shipping. Giving a certain release date that was never intended to be actual is pretty much BS, and I quickly loose respect for those companies. They just do it to create a hype amongst the customers. }[ I've yet to see any toy-making companies actually having a fixed item schedule, except for the big giants like Hasbro, Mattel, Bandai.... Transformers fans waiting for 3rd party products have gone through much more delay than this, i dare say.. as for Dave & Toyfreakz, the fact that CollectionDX is 'with' them, and there's a response from longbill, is enough to assure me of my pre-order.. not trying to poke the glowing ember, but give the guy a break; he's handling the licensing issue too, and i for one applaud his offering of the Voltron pre-order.. some of the comments directed towards toyfreakz here are, in my humble opinion, too acidic and uncalled for..

I'm just as anxious as you guysfor this release so trust me when I say I will be the first to know with new details & I promise to post all my findings when it does happen.. Thanks for the info longbill76 and do send my regards and appreciation to Dave if you can regarding the EMS service to international destination, that's great news that toyfreakz will sponsor half the cost

hi longbill76 that's awesome.. my questions: 1. is the shipping to countries other that the States free as well? (specifically Malaysia ) 2. if yes, what is the shipping method? EMS with tracking or normal air mail without tracking? 3. if no, what should i do to opt for EMS shipping? Thanks for the effort longbill!

Anyways, I've read a few positive comments in this forum re: Dave and Toyfreakz. So let's hope we all get our Voltrons next month! Hi speedy Thanks for sharing.. indeed, Dave and toyfreakz have very good rating here, and that's why i didnot hesistate to order from them. even if the shipping is not free to my place, i wouldnt mind the Vehicle Voltron is one of the few 80's stuff that remains elusive, apart from Saber Rider's Ramrod.. and by Arus i'll own it!

I have a concern regarding preorder via Toyfreakz.. im located in Malaysia and preorderd the Vehcle Voltron from toyfreakz the moment it was shown via CollectionDX's video.. it went through, processing and all and had Malaysia listed in the delivery address option, AND with free shipping. I thought there must be some other option for shipping to Malaysia, but all I can see is the free shipping option, so i went with it. My concern is that i've emailed toyfreakz twice just to confirm if the free shipping applies to me, i wouldnt mind paying if it doesnt.. but up till today, no reply.. and this was before the Mattel issue crops up, so i would have thought with some forumers here getting replies from toyfreakz, i would at least get one too since shipping cost question is kinda important unless they dont mind shipping it free to me.. again, before anyone misjudge my post here, i have nothing against toyfreakz, just wondering if anyone here stays out of the States and have got any email response from toyfreakz ..

i'm located in southeast asia, and so far, through net scouring, i find no open preorders for Miracle Prod Vehicle Voltron, which lead me to preorder via Toyfreakz.. seeing as how they have the connection to actually get a prototype of it, and also with collectiondx 'supporting' them, i feel confident that toyfreakz will pull through the usual retailer in Asia; RobotKingdom, AmiAmi, Angolz.. not a peep.. even forum based in Asia refers to preorders at Toyfreakz and BBTS (before the cease and desist order)..

ya, i guess the silence is necessary to avoid further legal repercussions.. never been so exited for a chogokin before, and the only other robot that'd make me feel this way should it be in production is Bismarck (a.k.a. Saber Rider's RamRod).. that old chogokin need an update pronto!

haha, agree with all of you on the various Voltron toys out there.. didn't mean to be out of line when i commented on Mattel's we have to agree though, that the silence on Miracle Prod. Voltron is kinda worrying.. not panic-inducing worrying, but more like "where can i get this" worrying.. ive preordered from Toyfreakz.. hopefully it'd get thru fine..

to each his own then.. i own enough chogokin to make my own view pricepoint wise.. if you think it is worth it, then it is worth it.. personally, at the current toy making technology, i think Mattel could have done much better for its Voltron.. just as you have your opinion on the Mattel Red Lion, so do I on the MP Voltron; robot wise he's anime accurate, only problem is the individual different scale lions, but obviously Toynami placed the combined form as priority.. with the die-cast content and better articulation, i don't see any competition (other than size) coming from Mattel's Voltron.. and again, my opinion

*sigh* .. i guess my point about the "pricepoint" when unnoticed ..
i have no doubt the Mattel Lion Voltron would be impressive, but seeing what Toynami and Miracle Prod are doing with their Voltrons, Mattel's version is not really worth its pricepoint.. IMHO.. just like hw the inflated evilBay price for MP Voltron is not worth it.. again IMHO
