( Captainamerica hasn't been here since perhaps 2007... ...it's like he vanished!) zozo-mag Well, in the comics Captain America was frozen for decades....give him some time and he'll probably thaw out somewhere

I PO'd Getter 1 for 8300 yen at AmiAmi. Now they need to ship my Black Getter. I got the last one they had and paid on Saturday with a status of paid in the order. How long does it take them to fully process and ship?

Well good thing I don't care enough about your opinion to explain myself. Wow. Just. Wow. Seriously?! I'm with you on this AA. To get all up in arms and disappointed about a feature that was never advertised and never existed and was photoshopped by some random fan instead of enjoying the toy for why you pre-ordered it in the first place.......and then of course the response to your statement.....just wow.

This piece looks amazing! C'mon Gakken, is it worth it? I've got one at AmiAmi waiting for payment and I want to see if I should pay or ditch.

Man, this thing looks beautiful. I've got 1 Getter piece in my collection (Shogun Warrior Dragun) but this looks like an awesome piece. I had thought about getting the Aoshima for awhile, but I like the looks of the this one better (matte finish, cloth cape, no unsightly screw holes on the back). HLJ is showing In Stock so I might just snag one.

Kitsir makes the Popy ones. I bought a set and they look amazing and are very durable. I haven't done the resto on my LJN yet. I had to buy 2 Voltrons to get a complete one with the sword, wings and both jaws. I think I've lost interest in doing it unfortunately (due to my new Gunpla obsession) and will probably just sell the stickers and 2 Voltrons. Did you ever sell the stickers and the Voltrons? I have a newfound interest in this toy. I still have them. I was just too lazy to get around to trying to sell them somewhere.

has anybody every visited the place? I also remember seeing a message a while ago where Dave said orders can be picked up in person. I wonder if this contributed or was the cause of his bankruptcy? Brick and mortar stores for specialty items are a tough thing to run and can be ultimately costly as most I've seen fail. Add to that the fact he has what appears to be an outdoor view on an indoor mall and he was paying for prime real estate.

I notice CM's gets quite a bit of hate for 1 bad (albeit really bad) release but very little forgiveness for some really amazing stuff they've given us in the past. I've seen some really really bad QC from Fewture and they get a pass and people lining up to spend $500 each time.

Sounds awesome! Hopefully he does join up so I can see them....I'm not a fan of Facebook and don't even have it and most likely never will. Went out the other night and all my friends were glued to their phones having to respond to each and every Facebook update from every single person they've ever met in life....really disgusted me so I left. (rant over)

It's good to check the dragon. I received mine and found that one of the chest door hinges was installed upside down resulting in the chest doors not closing all the way...real bummer. Sent just the figure back to Angolz (where I purchased it from) and hoping to get the replacement soon (hopefully no later than sometime in January). Just using your post as an example. I see more and more posts like this relating to Fewture products yet people still shell out $500+ on them like nothing has ever happened. For every forum post I see that says theirs was perfect, I see 2 that say they had mechanical issues and/or paint chips. People even request getting them checked before shipping for damages. Now, with this kind of track record, why do people still put their faith in Fewture? People are already screaming about CM's Grendizer and demanding their head but I never see any bashing of Fewture.

No problem It's a pretty cool looking piece but all that ones I've seen have some cosmetic problems (paint, oddly bent arms/legs/head/etc). I've seen them go from between $90 - 150 depending on packaging and condition.

He's definitely not starting small now is he With jumbos like those his best bet would probably be YJ unfortunately Those are jumbos that a collector gets and keeps! Good luck in your hunt bowhntr, you always seem to make things happen so I guarantee you'll get him those jumbos somehow! Any chance Fabio could join up and show us his collection? I've seen some amazing collections come out of Italy.

That bootleg is a mini version of a Marmit piece that was originally 23". Weird seeing a jumbo come in a baggy with a header card.

It pretty much looks like a crappy vinyl piece. My dog's vinyl chew toys look better manufactured than that.

Damn....no Braves Instant buy if it had at least GaoGaiGar.....hell, even Baan Gaan would have got me to buy it. I've also never understood why they haven't ever released an English translated version. I'm talking strictly text, not voice work....the eastern world is used to watching subbed anime. I know why they can't distribute outside of Japan because of tricky international distribution rights on the various series, but what stops them from translating the text for additional import sales? A sale is a sale irregardless of where it comes from....it would create a demand outside of Japan for imports since the PS3 is region free for games and their sales would grow.

No, you aren't unfortunately. Playmoya's prices change. They claim it's in relations to market prices and it auto adjusts. One of the sites they scan must have sold at that price....maybe even a YJ auction. Thanks for the info. That's good to know. They are the only site that I know that does that and that's what leads to them having some pretty outrageous prices on some items. If someone is desperate for an item and has no patience to shop around (obviously, otherwise they would have bought the one on Plamoya), they skew the prices. It's pretty frustrating because Plamoya does get some great out of print items in.
