Does anyone offer repro labels of the Kamen Rider V3? It seems to be a really easy set and the only ones I need are the red and white labels for his back and chest.

No problem. They are definitely a site that if you see something you want and you are comfortable at that price, get it then and there because you don't know what it will be in an hour. I was watching an item and it went up almost $300. Luckily the eBay prices were only a little more than Plamoya had it originally listed for. Plamoya will only check Japanese pricing, not worldwide pricing.

No, you aren't unfortunately. Playmoya's prices change. They claim it's in relations to market prices and it auto adjusts. One of the sites they scan must have sold at that price....maybe even a YJ auction.

The first link is rather nice looking and it's a custom, the second is rather awful looking and appears to be an official piece (Wonderfest release maybe?). I agree with AA, Games Workshop is your best friend when it comes to stuff like this.

WTF! Where did you get that and where did it come FRSM? That's got to be the most amazing bootleg I've seen (better than the transformable toilet robot I saw years ago.)

It is a standard and rather pricey fully assembled toy line. I've seen reviews and such on one of the more popular GI Joe boards as they are in scale with Joes. These have been out there for quite some time.

Haven't we seen and heard more (other than colored proto) of the SOC GaoGaiGar than we have of the Tryder?

Definitely the MG, better engineering, detail and size. I agree, $90 is a massive ripoff. I've seen them for sub $40 plus shipping.

This really is a difficult decision to make. I've done it twice in my collecting life and in both instances, I didn't need the money, I just moved on to different priorities and figured then was as good a time as any to do it. I liquidated 2 segments of my collection (Transformers and Diaclones) and both had seperate results in the long run. The Diaclones I sold for what just 2 of the pieces sell for now, but the Transformers I could re-buy the collection 3 times over for what I got back then. Collecting fads come and go and it's difficult to gauge what the trends will be. The third segment of my collecting back then was GI Joe and I chose to hold on to those and I had a rather valuable collection at the time....unfortunately they aren't worth even a fraction of what they were a decade ago. You can also look at comic books and baseball cards too. In the 80's and 90's baseball cards and comics were gold, now they are merely paper.

why do i get the feeling that this proposed Mazinger isnt going to push through.... Definitely have the feeling the design will get/has gotten rejected and will need to be retooled.

LOL! Guess I took for granted that everyone knew what I was talking about since they are so common here in the south For those not in the know, "Truck Nuts" are chromed scrotoms w/ testicles (nut sacks, ball sacks, etc...) that hang off the trailer hitch of pickup trucks. They even have their own lock and key in case someone were to try to steal your nuts We have a quite a few of those around my area as well. The first time I saw these on a truck I thought "yeah ok, whatever" but once you see it for about the 50th time it turns into "I don't want to be in that club". I can't even count how many I see on a daily basis. An ex co-worker had some on his pickup and lost the key so he couldn't easily remove them because the attachment on his was made of aircraft cable.

Reading a comment by Gold in the Mazinger Photon Lab thread got me to thinking about toys that never got released but have had quite a lot of work done on them. Some of the pieces that come to my mind from the SRC line are from GaoGaiGar like KouRyu, AnRyu, Mic Sounders and Goldymarg. I can't locate the picture for some reason but there was a display of them with the released SRCs posed on a diorama of the J Ark.
I also remember seeing prototypes on Toysdaily of Fire Dagwon and Power Dagwon from CM's Brave Chogokin line.
What other pieces from other recent lines haven't made it to market and seem to have disappeared?

To quote Duke Nukem... "Balls of Steel." Actually in this case it would be "Balls of Chogokin."

That would be them! I just shake my head an roll my eyes whenever I see them. Now just imagine a set of those hanging from those loops or hitches below this Mazinger's crotch.

What did you do? Did you drill a hole in the neck and the body and insert a metal rod?
