This is looking great!!! GGG (still waiting for it to come) will keep me company while waiting for this beast! In terms of articulation, we just have to wait and see fam. Thanks for the vid!!! Can't wait man! You're welcome, I am tallying up the days man. GGG looks fantastic, one day when my career takes off I hope to afford it and of course Voltron

They take the thing apart and they STILL won't show the range of the knees. Now i'm getting annoyed and worried. I'll admit to skipping through that video; did they do anything other than take off the chest plate and transform the head? If not, I wouldn't worry too much quite yet. Dengeki's early hands-on with a pre-production sample of GX-71, went very much the same way; quick and with the kids-gloves on. Aside from a few things we already know about (Tyrannosaurus mouth cannons, posable mammoth trunk, etc) we saw the storage feature for the Daizyujin's back cannons in t-rex's chest armor and how the t-rex tail segments articulate (f**k yeah!). Oh yeah, they also show that Daizyujin's head is rotable .

(Guys, just have a look on the megazord from the upcoming movie... The action figure is already visible. Let´s cry.) I thought I was going crazy in thinking that movie Tyrannosaurus dinozord was hideous. A lot of fans seems to like it. Did they reveal the other zords yet? Funny you should mention old GGG himself. Mine is relegated to being a statue. Albeit a really good looking statue but a statue nonetheless. Mine has been in a "GOLDION...HAMMAAHHHH!!!" pose for months now. Will probably give him something new to do once I have Megazord.

I wonder if this is a temporary thing like the first instance. For those that are buying voltron and megazord maybe you're considering posing them in a battle wl mode against each other ? My Megazord is gonna be teaming up with GaoGaiGar. I saw the Vangelus review on GGG and it is damn gorgeous. Its gonna make sine display

You'll notice that theres a tiny pin on the last two tail segments, clearly meant for Megazord transformation. Now, the question is whether this is the full extent of articulation or it will be full articulation. The Tamashii site mentions the tail will be articulated but doesn't mention to what extent.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful. Finally they stand the Tyrannosaurus is a different pose, makes him look a little taller. What show are these images from? By the way, behind the Megazord there's a protoype for the tamashii dragon dagger. I wonder how it will differ from the legacy version.

like I said, they're not gold tinted in any slightest way. but youre welcome to think whatever you want. i can just imagine the posts once it is released. I see what I see. Then again, color is just a subjective perception so some might not see it but others so. By no means does it distract from the quality of this thing, it's a monumental achievement from Bandai.

For what it's worth, here's a video review of SOC Voltron from Dengeki Hobby. It definitely looks like the metal in some parts has a slight gold tint.

Hello everyone, First time post but longtime lurker here(welp, not that long about 2 or so months). I decided to join so I could share my excitement about the SOC Daizyujin with other mecha fans. I really like the friendly and knowledgeable vibe from these forums. To be honest, I got into these toys because of my affection for the MMPR Megazord but know very little about the other robots. Even Voltron (or Golion) was unfamiliar to me until I started visiting these boards. But slowly I'm starting to know about other characters and am especially impressed by the Soul of Chogokin line. Anyway, I'm beyond excited about the SOC Megazord. It's about as close to perfect as you can get with regards to all the criteria: Detailing, aesthetics, accuracy and articulation. As a loyal red ranger fan I was most concerned with the Tyrannosaurus dinozord. Overall, I'd say it looks amazing but am a bit disappointed with the proportions and size. I understand though that you sacrifice acccuracy for combination and articulation. I'm totally fine with that sacrifice, I get you can't have everything. I secretly hoped Bandai would release a stand alone t-rex dinozord much like they did for dragon caesar The other zords will benefit greatly with the articulated features (trunk with the mastodon, legs and wheel on the saber tooth tiger and horns and mouth on the triceratops). I simply can't wait, I'm tallying the days.
