Can't wait to see a good hands on video review on this. I saw on bbts that they want $100.00 deposit and its non-refundable. Good i cancelled with them, What if this DX has low diecast content or poor articulation? Haven't seen one action pose photo yet. lol.

Yah more I think of it and own it and sadly compare to other SoCs I have I personally don't think it's worth $300.00. $220-250 to me is better price. GGG was much cheaper purchase and I was in awe of it and left it on my office desk for days just admiring it and all extra parts. GX-72 does look damn good though but thinking of past SoCs and what I got with GX-72 gave me an empty feeling. Like I found myself looking in box for something else because I'm used to it with all my other Chogokin. Thats how i feel. It just feels like a step back from what they've accomplished with recent combiners like GGG and Voltron. Why dont the forearms lock? Why cant it look up and down? I also feel like we shouldve gotten some non perfect transformation parts. Hands, articulated cannons... a removable tail on tyrannosaurus when combined. Yep totally. Maybe price is warranted because of assault mode kind of like triple changer thing. But yah articulated fingers and cannons and I'd be happy to pay $300 for it. Yes, I just realized the head doesn't move up and down after your earlier post and was like ah man That sucks. I find myself posing around my SRC Daizyujin lately now. Haha I know it's different scale and line.

Great review Coletron, very helpful! Been trying to find a good English review of this Boss. I went ahead and purchased the SoC version instead but really like the look of the dynamite action and that torso shooter!

Yes I decided to skip SoC Danguard and get bigger Yamato one.
I was watching OptimusPrimeSG(GX-04) and RPA(Gunbuster) video and they were mentioning that those two items individually were going for crazy secondary market prices.

That's cool TaurusOxford are those GGG smaller articulated hands? Can you make articulated cannons for me?

Decided to get my first Figuarts figure Devilman. Anybody know about the Great General of Darkness that was in Bandai D.C. photo lineup last year?

Was there certain items short shipped or not rereleased? That cause an uproar with the collecting community?
I heard the GX-04s set go for over $500.00 back then. I went to collector show and a guy was still asking for that price. But heard on review it was rereleased few times to satisfy Collector demand. That type stuff interest me for some reason so I know history of it.

I started chogokin collecting October-2016 and knew absolutely nothing about modern mecha collectibles. Been busy collecting other collectible lines past 35 years. I didn't know where to start and overwhelmed.
I like to hear stories from veteran collectors about chogokin controversies, short shipped items and hot pricey collectibles.
I've read and watched countless reviews and there are snippets about stories like GX-04 UFO set, Metal Works Dairugger(quality issues/shipping) and Gunbuster(original GX-34) soar into high prices when it was released.I'm caught up with my collecting but like to hear stories still. I guess it's same way when I meet up with old collector friends and we laugh about certain hot items back then from other toy lines.
Any stories I should know about? thanks

I had two of them in my hand for $560 now that's what one is almost asking for. I kind regret that.

Oh yah Robotech Masters series. Yah be cool to see Bandai do actual character figures too like small 3 3/4 inch ones Matchbox done. I only have Minmei and Scott Bernard with the cycle.

I've passed on several I rather have other collectors have one. I have friends who missed out on it by playing spectator and regret it now. I even told them dude you should get this now earlier this year and just sat on it.
I just want another one for Lion mode. Ah ok well I ll snag one when I see it.

I wonder if Bandai will make Mospeada figures like Invid shock troopers so I can retire my plastic Matchbox ones. That would be cool to have and some cyclones too.

I still can't get over that scrander just looks asymmetrical for me. My SRC Mazinger case is already getting full so I'll pass on this for now. Mazin Emperor is my Mazinger favorite and wing span is taking lot of room.
